I don't know if this was ever "solved" or not but there was a question about whether there was a speaker behind the 300 loop with the music from Wishes playing while the fireworks went off. I couldn't find the thread for that so I thought I would mention that across the dam, by the old trail, a truck parks and has the music in real time while the fireworks are going off. You can hear them at the beach also if you listen. The 9:15 horse and buckboard ride stops near there to watch the fireworks and the music is quite loud there. Great view as many have mentioned. It is nice to hear the music and narration in real time to the fireworks. Watched them a couple of times from there. Now we start the planning process all over again.

Another confirmation of the Wishes Music from behind the 300 loop!!! Thank you, Curt!!:thumbsup2

Was there just last night, if you walk to the beach and go way down to the right you can see Cindys house :tinker: and hear Wishes. This would be close to the 300 loop.

The music actually comes from the little cabin on the old swamp trail. the cabin holds a generator and sound equipment that gets turned on by a cast member when the show starts.

Thanks for posting this, I wish I had known this before we went the first week of June cause' I saw the truck over there at the cabin with it's headlights on and even said out loud to DH, that that had better be a CM over there, cause that's where we always go to watch the fireworks from and the truck wasn't there in Feb. (I guess we must have seen the normal fireworks show then). Anyway, it was obvioulsy confirmed when the CM cranked up the generator and then a few minutes later started the soundtrack. By then it was to late to head over to the beach, so DH and I took our chances with the gators and sat down near the edge of the water, so we didn't block the view of the Fireworks hayride behind us. It was a great show and the music was great. I do still kinda miss the old speaker system they had hooked up for the hayride, It just seemed more well countryish and old school, but I guess I am just old fashion as I know they needed something a bit more technical for this show. :thumbsup2
