we are thinking of having a dessert party at sago cay after our wedding but just wanted other brides opinions of whether having the wishes music piped in is really worth it?! It seems pretty expensive and we assume it would'nt work with the firework timings. So any brides had a DP at Sago cay - did you have the music piped in? did you think it was worth it? Can you hear the music anyway? Thanks

I didn't have the music and didn't miss it because we were too busy having our photo taken. Its nothing like watching it in the park.

Did you have any background music during the DP? We are going back and worth between piping in the music or having a violinist or something play during our entire welcome party (both are around the same cost). I'm just worried that with no music in the background it will be too quiet.

I think it depends on your group. We were only a group of 8 and it was the end of the day, we'd all been together at the reception already, and it wasn't a group of close family and friends, so for us I think I violinist would have been good to add some atmosphere.

We had the music piped into Sago Cay for our dessert party. We went back and forth for months trying to decided if the extra money was worth it or not. We finally decided that this was a once in a lifetime event so we decided to spend the extra money. Since we had music I can't say how it would be without it. I can however say that with the music it was very magical.
If we were to do it again I would not change it and still pay the extra for the music. It really did add something special to the end of the night and kind of helped finalize the magic of the entire day for us. We had 20 guests of mostly family and everybody told us how amazing it was with hearing the music and being able to see the fireworks.
The timing was perfect to the fireworks. We happened to have ours the night of a Christmas party so it was a little bit longer and it had the 360 fireworks at the end which was really cool seeing from a distance. We had both photography and Videography for the event so even though we were having our pictures taken we can now watch the video and relive it as if we were there again.

I hope that helps a little.... :wizard:
