Just back from DW...G/F had never seen Tinkerbell (or Tinkerbill..lets not go there) come down from the castle...so we stood nearly directly behind the statue of Walt and Mickey....BAD SPOT...big share of the fireworks were hidden by the castle...So if you want to see Tink...be sure and be to the left or right of the castle...Just a heads up!!!! :thumbsup2

Thank for the tip. The first time we saw Wishes we were in the middle of Main Street.

I see you're from Tawas. I'm just north of you in Alpena! I'll use your tip on our next trip is December (23 - 30). First time at Christmas.

:santa:

Thanks for the info! :thumbsup2

I think a good spot to see Wishes AND Tink fly ... is on the bridge over to Tomorrowland. We'll be there soon since we're doing the single digit dance. WDW here we come!

I did the same thing last week. I was there by myself and decided that since I had never watch the fireworks from right in front of the castle that I would get as close as I could. The biggest problem was that the castle blocked most of the fireworks! I still enjoyed it but, it is probably not the best place to watch the fireworks!!

"So it tis! (Squaaaawk) And, as long as you're all standin'..."

I will also add to NOT stand over on the walkway going to Adventureland from the Hub or on the walkway going to Frontierland from the Hub.

Although it looks REALLY tempting to stand there for "Wishes", there are (nearly INVISIBLE until showtime) TREES that block the "main" (BIG) fireworks and the sound is (intentionally?) VOID here (no speakers).

(And, I have 13 minutes of really BAD video with hollow, echoey audio to prove it.) ;)

If you will stand on the bridge going to Tomorrowland, Tinkerbell will fly right over you. It's a great place to watch the fireworks, but get a spot early ! :thumbsup2
