Hi All

I need some help........ dont' we all!

For our trip to WDW in April I want to do something a bit special for DH and DD.
I saw in the photo compettition a pontoon boat for a wishes cruise and I've seen a few threads about illumination cruises. :coffee:

Can someone tell me more about them, I can't seem to find a thread or link on THE DIS. :confused3

Thanks Sarah X

We did the Wishes cruise in October. We started at the Contemporary Resort Marina and our pontoon went out into the lagoon and we sailed round for a bit before getting a prime spot for wishes right in front of the railway station looking up towards the castle. The view there is spectacular. There were several other pontoons aswell but they all keep out of each others eyeline.
We had the music piped into the boat so you get the full experience.

Afterwards we cruised round for a bit and got a great view of the illuminated parade that goes across the lagoon - in fact we crossed its path twice.

I would highly recommend the cruise. We'd like to try and do the illuminations one next time.

Thanks Athur

How do I book one?

I'm ok with booking all my ADR's lol - do you know the number or can your point me in the right direction?
Thank you

Hello,

We did the wishes cruise last in 2005 and I really enjoyed it though my partner thought it was a bit boring?

I guess it depends on what you want out of it.

We had cake and champagne on ours which was really nice, and you get a good view of the castle and the fire works.

They take you around the lake and you see all sorts of interesting things. For me it was great fun, my DH on the other hand saw it differently.

He was cold (yes cold in florida???), it was too windy, the pre show got on his nerves and he just couldn't relax...though dont take this to heart as my DH likes to moan.

I think it is worth doing and I am sure you will have a good time.

Lets us all know if you go ahead and book and how it goes! Have fun!
