Wishes from WL?

We will arrive on a Thursday afternoon and plan on taking it easy onsite that day with no visit to a park. Is there anywhere from the grounds of WL that we can view Wishes or is it too far away? Thought it would be nice to at least get a glimpse of my favorite firework show that first day!

Forget the WL for viewing Wishes. You're better off going over to the Contemporary and viewing from the roof deck.

If you don't want to leave the WL that night, you can see the electric water pageant from the beach and catch Wishes from there too. It won't be as good as a viewing as the previous poster's location, but you can still see it. If you have a wood's view on the north side, you will be able to see it from your room...the higher the floor the better. We were on the first floor (actually, walk towards roaring forks, pass it on your left and our room was straight ahead!) and we were able to see the fireworks through the trees beyond our balcony.

One time while waiting for the bus to the MK for late night EMH, we heard Wishes going off. We ran out into this little grass island and could see a few of the fireworks but not a whole lot.

Whenever staying at WL and wanting to catch Wishes without going to MK, we just head over to the Polynesian and watch from the beach there. Not a far drive and most excellent viewing!
