We have an adr in Dec at 6:10 at WCC. We might want to see Wishes that night though (at 6)--we don't mind if we're not 'right there' as it'll be ds 2s first experience with fireworks and it might be nice to be somewhere just close by. Can we see the show from the ferry going over to the WL? I have a back-up ADR at The Plaza for 5:45 while we mull over what to do. It's still close to the show but at least we can eat and peek (maybe out the windows?) or run outside? Any ideas? Thanks!

There is a nice spot at the Grand Floridian on the dock just as you get off the boat where you can see the fireworks well and hear them. They also do a little pageant some nights on the water (just a few little platforms with lights and some music) which is cool. If not staying at a Disney resort you can get the boat to the Grand Floridian from the Magic Kingdom front entrance (just past the monorail, or from the parking lot get the monorail to the resorts. Polynesian has a beach which has OK views but is a bit further away and not as good seating really. Get to the dock early to get a good seat.

With a 6:10 ADR at WCC, you should probably get taking a boat from MK at 5:30-5:45, well before the start of Wishes. You can see some of the higher fireworks bursts from outside WL but inside the restaurant you're away from it all. There are several good places to be away from the fireworks but still see them - the ferry dock area of TTC, riding the resort loop of the monorail, or the beaches of GF and Poly to name a few. To make any of these work you'd probably want a dinner time of 7pm+ somewhere like WCC....
