I have a question. What if it rains and we have a Wishes FP ?
Ok thanks Robo ! I have another question I hope you might know. If our Wishes FP + time starts at 9:35 do we have to wait until that time or can we get in earlier?Wishes runs, rain or not.
Wishes virtually never gets cancelled.
(But, the PARADE can get cancelled due to weather.)

Ok thanks ! Just trying to figure out a plan. We will be back at BTMR at 8:30. Does the MSEP end or start in that area?It has been reported many times that FP+ holders for Wishes have arrived as much as TWO HOURS before Wishes.
(Not me.)![]()

Especially when it rains...the electric parade ends by splash
Ok good maybe we can stay near there and watch it before heading to our Wishes FP. How long does it take for the parade to get back there?the electric parade ends by splash

This was our experience, too. At first I was unhappy with our FP choice when we arrived, but once we waded thru the sea of people near the entrance of the FP area, we came to a large open grassy area where no one was at all. We had room literally to stretch out and watch the fireworks. We were never asked to stand. Since there was about five feet of empty space in front of us, we had a great view, even from the ground. We sat in the back of the fp area that was closest to Tomorrowland Terrace and had a good view. The majority of the people were crowded toward the front which left some nice, open area in front of us. The CM came by once to ask people to stand, which most did, but never came again to enforce it or ask sitting people to stand. We really liked using the fp area because we got there five minutes before the pre-show and had a great view, better than we have ever had before.![]()
Absolutely not. We watched the EP from HOP and it took us over 20 minutes in a horrible sea of angry people to get to the FP area. It was a truly awful walk. I can't even call it a walk. It was a shove-fest for survival at a mind-numbingly slow pace. We missed Celebrate the Magic and barely caught the beginning of Wishes. Better to be very near the FP area when EP begins. The massive crowds were beyond unpleasant.Ok good maybe we can stay near there and watch it before heading to our Wishes FP. How long does it take for the parade to get back there?
Ok what do suggest we do? Our FP+ for BTMR is from 8:30 to 9:30.You won't make it.

Ok thanks or maybe we should try to change BTMR FP time.Ride BTM at 8:30.
Head immediately to the Wishes FP area via ADVENTURELAND.
Skip MSEP. Sorry.
We can always see the 11:00 parade. We have seen it before anyway. What I'm wondering is will we be able to make it from BTMR to the Wishes FP area if the walkways are blocked off for the parade?@maryj11 , I have had to come to grips with the fact that when it comes to Disney, just don't get panicky. You can be the best planner, but unless you come for like 5 park days, you just will have to let something go. There will be a next trip. But yes, if you can bump up big thunder, do so. If you cant, go in at 8:25 or as early as the CM will let you. Usually there is a Celebrate before and after Wishes but not sure about ELec parade. For what it's worth, I'm the kind of person that enjoys it as I'm walking to my destination... We also got stuck on the PeopleMover on Monday and had an eagles view of it and all the perky music (which is my alarm clock.) Still, to me this is my priority in order of gold, silver, bronze: 1)Wishes. Fireworks always win, every night. 2) Celebrate, holy moly!!! Amazing! 3) EP if it happens to be close by.
There will be a next time, I'm sure, so do what you can and don't sweat the rest....
