Wishes FP+ area?

I'm a wheelchair user who used to just go over to the walkway in the Rose Garden are and park next to the railing to watch wishes but I think that is no longer possible.

Have any of you tried the FP+ area while using a wheelchair? How is the view? Is it worth using a FP+? This will be for September 30th so not a really crowded time but there are limited Wishes performances that week.
