I booked the cruise for Wishes, it picks up right at our resort....just wondering if this is a "must do" when staying at VWL?

I am betting it is a great time too....

Are there any other special activities at VWL?

Thanks guys!

We like to rent bikes and ride to and around Ft. Wilderness Campground.

We were staying at OKW the week before last and did the Wishes cruise out of WL and we enjoyed it very very much. It was a great way to see Wishes, we had the music right on the boat, and no crowds when it was over.

We did a tour of Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake while our captain gave us some tidbits regarding the history and tales of the area and WDW in general.

Don't know if they still offer the package for unlimited boat rentals, but my 2 kids loved spending hours on the 'water mice'--as did DH and I.
We did a few relaxing canopy boat rides, too, but oh, those water mice...... :cheer2:

How much does the wished cruise cost?

It was for $250, but I'm not sure how many people that would accomodate, perhaps 8, but maybe 10. Another family booked the cruise, and we tagged along. Our portion of the cost of the cruise was $75, there were 5 in the original family.

I "found" the family that had already booked the cruise on the Theme Parks and Strategies board of the Dis.
