Is there something that is taking place of the Dessert party for a period of time…When I look it says it doesn't start until July 5th (after we are gone) anything else like this in June?

Prior to July 5th it is the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party -- they changed the name and raised the price as of July 5th.

Prior to July 4th I believe, it's called the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. After July 4, it turns into the Wishes Dessert Party.
