Wishes dessert party

I was wondering if you really have a good view of the castle and fireworks? Or is this just another scam to get that last dollar you were hanging on to, to buy that mickey mug.

I think it's a great view. We have watched in many areas and this is one of our favorites. You can put it this way, many people were very upset when Disney started the Wishes party because they lost their favorite free spot.

it had been our family's fave free spot for *years* and when they offered the dessert party we did it a few times and have not regretted it and hope to do it again on our next trip!

So are you really close to the castle or farther away? I have seen pictures showing both. Thanks.

I think it doesn't really matter. Personally I wouldn't want to show up later. The tables are assigned so it's not like you'd get a bad table anyway if you show up late. Our Reservation was at 9:15 but we got there a bit before 9 and people were starting to line up. Around 9 they let us in. We had a beautiful view of the spectromagic parade as well as wishes. I would go earlier if I were you.

I have a July 3rd reservation too!

The CM on the phone told me "8:20pm"

And now I am sooooooo confused

Can anyone get a straight answer about July 3rd??

If we are going to be kicked out before fireworks (or it's going to be a triple madhouse due to 3 seatings) I'm canceling. It's NOT worth the $$ if it's not going to be PACKED.

I was interested in this too but I'm a little lost. So if I have a 7pm reservation, but they don't bring the dessert out until 9pm (1 hour before 10pm Fireworks show), what's the point of the 7pm reservation? Sorry if I'm being obtuse but I'm just really lost.

Somehow I think there is going to be a problem for these nights. Here is a list I found for July 3rd.

Wishes Nighttime Spectacular at 8:00 PM followed by "Disney's Celebrate America: Fourth of July Concert in the Sky" at 9:50 PM. The TA's report there will be NO Wishes, just the Concert in the sky at 9:50pm.

For July 4th - Wishes Nighttime Spectacular at 9:00 PM & "Disney's Celebrate America: Fourth of July Concert in the Sky" at 9:50 PM - ONCE AGAIN TA's State NO Wishes.

I do not think they will have a 3 hour party with people entering at 7pm for the 4th. of July Concert in the sky. If I remember when we were there, there were no Wishes on that night.


I am thinking once this is realized, some reservations may be cancelled and or all will be and no party.

I do hope though that they do keep it for you and just change your reservation to a later time. I WOULD for sure be on the phone with a supervisor as soon as possible though.
