Wishes Dessert Party in December

That is odd?? I was told we would have a table assigned? I sure hope they do not start overbooking this event or I will cancel. I am booked for Dec 8th and I see the previous poster just stated it is now sold out...omg! It is becoming a popular event for sure. We were told too arrive at 7:20, but we plan too line up by 7pm that night.

I am anxious too hear some review from some of the fall dates???

Don't worry. We did it last week. You will have a table. When they say "standing room only" I believe they are talking about viewing the fireworks at the rail. Some tables are close enough to the rail to see the fireworks from your table. Some are further back. So many people will be standing along the railing for the actual fireworks. It was not crowded at the rail for us. You are not allowed to bring your chair up to the rail to sit- the CM's will stop you- I assume it is for safety.

As for seating times, everyone "checked in" beginning 1 1/2 hrs before fireworks (8;30) and then everyone was allowed to enter the party 1 hr before (9:00) I didn't see anyone having to wait till 9:20 or anything.

will be attending on 12/22.....made reservations as soon as I heard they were extended until the end of Dec...went a few years ago when they first offered it so can't wait to do it again.....

I just Booked for our family of 7 on Wed. Dec 1!! Very excited can't wait, the CM I talked to said there was still a lot of availabitity on this night.

Someone was talking about standing room only issue.... There is a little disclaimer/info thing they are suppost to read to everyone and it says that the firework viewing is standing room only. I asked the CM about it and he said that there are some tables that can seethe fireworks from them but most have a better prefered view from the standing area. He said that all guests have tables to eat their desserts at, and that there are only a limited number of them and once they are booked they are gone. Hope that helps.

That is the same experience we had last September.

We are booked Dec 25 and told to arrive about 8:45pm for the 9:00pm start to the party, just like last September.

Now, I just have to find another night to get over to MK to see MSEP, since you can't see it from the party area.

The CM explained about the party and then asked me what date I was wanting. I told him Wed, Dec 1, for 7 and he said great there is still a lot of availability that night, and booked us. Not sure if I just got lucky or what, but I would think that it would be easier for two to get in instead of seven? I am thinking that maybe I should call back with my conf# just to make sure everything is ok.

Thats weird that he did say there was a lot of availability and other people say there is no way to tell! Thats good you got in though!! i really want to go that Monday because it is extra magic hours at MK, but there is no opening. I think like a month before we go I am just going to call every day until someone cancels! Haha
