wishes dessert party in December?

Hi everyone. We will be in Disney the first week of December and was wondering if anyone knew if they usually had the dessert party that time of year? I see wishes is also at different times during that week. Anyone know this answer? Thanks so much.

At the moment they are only offering the dessert party until Aug 14th. Everyone is hoping they will extend it further, but so far no word from disney. I can say that we were there last December and did the dessert party. So hopefully if they extend it, look for them to do so thru December. P.s. if they do, I highly recommend it, we will be doing it a second time if they extend it thru September of this year

We did this last year during Christmas week and it was freezing cold!!!!!! Hoping for warmer weather this year!!!

YES anyone can do this...and Yes you do have to pay for park admission + the cost of the party. (But well worth it!)

We did wishes dessert party on Christmas Eve last year. It was amazing. Being from upstate NY I did not think it was cold at all. We were there through Christmas and New Year. Well worth the cost, great views of fireworks and Tinker Bell!!!!!

I was able to go to the Desert party on MVSHP last Sept. It was wonderful. We are going to do MVMCP on my birthday so I am hoping to be able to get the party for that night as well..

I called yesterday for ressies in Ocotber and the wishes dessert parties were already sold out! So I would say call as soon as you can - the poster who said it was only till 8/14 was incorrect.

It is actually just an un-informed agent you had. Your party isn't sold out, they are really only booking until August 14th. What they did, is try and search the party for those dates. Since it is not available for booking those dates, it shows no availability, and so they told you it was sold out. I have been calling daily for the party for August 22nd since May...most say its still only through the 14th, but occassionally I will get one that is not "in the know" that tells me its completely sold out.

Rest assured, that if it's extended the Dis will be the 2nd people to know about it, right after the person who was able to book posts all about it! I will keep my fingers crossed with you.

Oh I hope you are right - This is the one thing DH has really asked for - everything else we are doing is for DD or me and my BFF who lives in FL and is staying with us for a few days. I would really LOVE to have him get the opportunity!

Called WDW Dining twice today to ask some questions, both times I asked about the Dessert Party and both times I was told the Party has been extended through Dec. 29th.

I just booked for September 22nd and they told me that reservations were open through December and that some of the dates overlap with party dates (didn't specify MNSSHP or MVMCP as I didn't need to know about either).
