OMG - the universe heard me- I decided to check one more time before I logged off for the night and BAM, a reservation popped up for the night we wanted
. Beyond excited!
We got a 9:15 time slot - have to read back in the thread to see what that means as Wishes is at 10 that night and I thought the party starts 1 hour prior.
I guess I waited too long, I tried booking for any night from Sunday May 6th through Wed May 9th and nothing is available.
I'm a bit disappointed, I would not have thought it would be such a popular time of year.![]()
The different times are for seat assignments only. They have pre-assigned seating. But you may get up (everybody does) from your table to watch wishes from the railing.
You should arrive at 8:30-8:40 you will be allowed in on a first come first served basis. Again, only your table assignment is based on that time (earlier times will be seated more toward the front, but it really doesn't matter). Have fun, love the dessert party!
Change the search time to 9:00. For some reason they stagger the entry reservations after 9:00. If the next available seating in the system is 9:05, it will not pick it up on the +/- 2 hour search, if 7:00 is your starting search point.

I went back and tried this, the search actually looks for times between 6:00-10:00, I tried each day for 2 people, nothing. If I add a third person I am able to get a reservation. That does not make much sense to me.![]()

Do a reservation for 3 with a child under 2, just tell them you got a sitter last minute. A table for 2 is the hardest to get because they only have so many.
That is insane. I checked 5/9 for parties of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20. All have availability. You tell me they can not accommodate 2. I understand they have to work within the seating arrangements but come on this is discrimination against small parties!!! I would call Disney Dining and see if they show 2 available. And if not I would certainly complain. Tell the CM you are seeing availability for all size parties. Maybe ask to speak to a supervisor or if that won't work email them. My bet is the closer to the date they will release tables of 4 for tables of 2. But still that's just wrong!
Good Luck
I agree being a party of two can be most frustrating but.........
On the other hand, the tables for 2 are IMHO the best seats, right up front and even if people stand at the railing in front of you, you still can watch the light show and the firework sitting at the table.

I was very bad...couldn't get an ADR for two, so I booked two and an infant...granted the seats were not the best, but we did get in, and funny, they never asked about missing infant and didn't have a highchair at the table for the "infant".
