If you look at page 1 last year July 3 & 4 ended up being released later than the rest of the month of July , I think maybe due to the fact that there are special fireworks for the 4th? So if July is released and you can not book the 4th keep a close watch and keep checking as it is such a busy time and I would imagine does sell out

I have a question! When I made my ressie for the dessert party the MK was closing at 8pm. I have a 7pm ressie. Well, now the park closes at 9pm. So do I still have to get there at 7pm or can I go later? My concern is that we can get a few more rides in before the party but if we go at 7pm, my kids are going to be antsy by the time Wishes actually starts.

We're watching for June dates also. My DW is really looking forward to this, and I guess I am too. It'll be nice not to fight crowds for a good spot.

Did Disney change the time of Wishes in addition to changing the park closing time? I know the party starts 1 hour before Wishes. For my March dates ( 3/7 ) the park closing time also changed from 8pm to 9pm but Wishes is still listed for 8pm so as of now the Dessert Party time of 7pm is correct. I would keep an eye on the calendar to see if they end up changing the time for Wishes then adjust my plans accordingly. This is what I plan on doing. I know in the past Disney will change hours and events about 2 weeks out from the start of any month which will be mid-February or there abouts.

Crazy question but I have to ask....is there ice cream available at the desert party?

All my husband cares about is if there will be ice cream. I have shown him pictures of all the deserts & his only concern is ice cream. Yes I am embarrassed, shocked, dismayed, etc. Questioning if I really knew this man at all before I married him, all in good fun of course. But seriously, that is going to be one expensive bowl of ice cream.

I have not been to the Dessert Party myself but I do recall at one point somewhere someone mentioning them having ice cream I think it was soft serve and "seasonal" although I do not recall seeing a picture of it.

Hopefully someone else will jump in here that has been before maybe when they had the ice cream.

There was ice cream last Nov 2011 and Jan 2012 when we attended the Wishes Dessert party. Fresh strawberries and lots of toppings also.

I went online yesterday to look and try to book not knowing yet that booking hadn't started. But when I tried it gave 2 different times for seating. How do you know which to click? Do you have to check what time Wishes is first? Seems odd.
Is the seating always 1 hour before Wishes?

The first seating is always 1 hour before then there may be other times example :
Wishes 9pm, Dessert Party Times 8pm, 8:10pm, 8:20pm

Depending how soon you try to book after they first go on sale you may get multiple times come up when you search, pick which ever time you want as there is a line to get into the party and it really has no bearing what time you pick just when you get into the line.

You do not need to put in a time when you search the system will automatically bring up the available times for your party size that you imputed
