Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread December 1-29 2012 Now Open!

For you December date watchers: the CM told me today it "could" be mid August based on 2010 release dates.

Thanks. I'm hoping to add the party for our Dec trip.

So I have a question while we wait.....I know this probably isn't the best place to ask this but I have a captive audience so I'll ask anyway.

So how is the view of Wishes from this location?
Ever time we have watched Wishes it's been right on main street at Casey's - the show is perfectly lined up with the castle and is awesome.
So from the party has does it look?

Plus another question - I have two kids who will be 7 and 9, are they going to have any trouble getting a good spot to watch the show from? Are their seats you have to sit in? What if someone tall is in front of them.

The location is where the tinkerbell flies over. Tomorrow Land Noodle Station. It's not blocked by anything so have really good view with the castle. Kids and adults, if you cannot get good view from the seat assigned could walk up to the railing and see. But no chair can be pulled up for safety issues. (I'm assuming they are afraid that some kid's going to fall off the railing. )
We usually grab a table by Plaza but hate saying no to people who just want to seat with you. They come 5~15 min before the Wishes and assume that a stranger is going to share a table with their whole family b/c they asked. DH usually stakes out on that table for good 45~60 min. but Dessert Party would be better since we don't have be bothered by the costant asking.

I hear you . I so want to get the Dessert Party booked, until I do I keep thinking maybe I should plan it for another night during our trip there are two other nights Wishes is showing.

I am pretty sure there is the likely possiblility of it selling out as with any dining event with limited seating availability, it is my first time trying to book it also so I am keeping a close eye so as not to be disappointed

Yes it will sell out. We did the party a couple years ago and it looks like the party area only seats about 150 people. So in comparison to the amount of people that are in the park on a given night, I'd say the chances of it not selling out are pretty slim. My suggestion would be to "stay on top of this" as you put it. But just by following this thread is probably the quickest way to find out when dates open up... other than calling Disney yourself a couple times a day.

Thanks for the help in manually inserting the date I needed. It worked without a hitch, and we got an adr for the night we wanted!! I am very excited!! We have never done this before, so we are really looking forward to it!!

Sounds like you may have a virus on your pc, I would run a virus scan just to be safe.

Hoping to book for December 21st - AKL IPO said dates probably wouldn't be out until September - I hope they are wrong! I really want to finish all my ADRs!

Its all have I left too. I am very anxious to get it done. I called a back in may and she said I should be able to book in June, I check almost everyday and still nothing for Sept. Thinking maybe I should call. ???

Nope nothing yet! I kind of thought that it's less likely that Disney would release something like this on Friday before holiday weekend. Anyways, those of who are going Aug, Sept, there are additional F! Pk released on those extra days. I just called and checked and seems like H&V and Brown Derby is available. However, there was no MM on Sept 24~Oct 1.
