Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread # 2 - September 2013 OPEN!!!

Holy cow! FINALLY!

Booked 8/16 for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids), our total was $91.56.

So glad all us August people can finally stop obsessing!!!

We will be there the same night! We are a part of 6 (2 adults, 4 teenagers). All adult pricing $178.86. We can't wait it will be our first time at the party.

We're ending our trip this way on the 30th too!

Making this reservation was a nightmare! Online wouldn't work, 1st call went to the wrong department (?!?!) and when transferred to the right department the CM said it wasn't open and wouldn't check again. 2nd call was a 15 minute wait and the CM disconnected the call almost immediately. 3rd call was a 10 minute wait and then it went straight to the survey for how my call was without me ever talking to a CM. 4th call the CM said it was open but already booked solid. I told her about the last 3 calls and she did some digging and realized it wasn't full yet. So we'll be there!!

Now we're PIF with all of our ADRs finished. Ready for this vaca to begin!

I was the first to post about the 30th and that's the last night of our vacation, too! Thought it would be the perfect ending to a great week!

I happened to be at the computer this afternoon and thought, "Hmmm, 2:00 sounds like a good time to open up the reservations. I'll just check for the heck of it." Almost fell off my computer chair when I didn't get the "sorry, restaurants with no availability...blah, blah, blah"!!!! Went right through, no glitch.

I've been so, so, so wanting to try this out since I heard about it. Now I have to juggle a couple ADRs, because I don't think we want a big dinner that night---will be looking for a late breakfast or a lunch somewhere. Oy----more stalking the reservation board looking for openings! But then, what else would I possibly do with all my time???

I got reservations for the 28th, for my BFF & DD. It is a surprise for them. Since my husband decided not to come this year and my BFF's husband said she could come, I am so excited.

I'm in the UK and just checked before going to bed! Thanks to this thread my DH and I will be celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary at the dessert party on August 10th. Woo hoo! Feels like I've waited forever for August to start booking!

So completely excited!!! First time Aug 16th with DH and DD's 10, 7, and turning 5 while we're there! Only heard about this because of DisBoards, only made the reservation today because of DisBoards!!! Yay yay!!! Does anyone know about how many reservations they allow total for the party?

I think I read somewhere that the party max is 170. Much better than fighting20,000+ people for a view of Wishes!

Thanks!!! We're surprising our kids, and DH has gone to work, so I'm am just fidgeting and going crazy with excitementband i cant say anything!!! I got some great ADR's at my 180+10, including two pre park opening character meals, BOG, and CRT twice(our DD's are diehard princess fanatics) We're doing the DxDP and after all the planning, and thinking about how excited our girls will be, this has just put me over the top! I will go to bed smiling about this tonight!

For Aug 1, the cost for 3 adults (10 and over) was $27.99 each and 1 child (age 3-9) was $14.99 for a total with tax of $105.40.
