We're planning on going in 2014 for my 30th not sure the exact dates off the top of my head but dec 3 is my bday so that week... Hope it's slow, excited to see the Christmas decorations!

we have been the frst week in December a couple of times and it is usually perfect. no long lines, nice weather(not too hot) and love the decorations.

I'm definitely considering this too. Trying to decide between low prices and lines and going early December, or high prices and fighting through crowds for the chance to be there on Christmas Day. I'm also planning to go late October and perhaps going again in December is too soon, regardless.

I'm so on edge about May opening up - it's so sad but when I wake up I instinctively reach for my phone to check the Dis and see if there's any news. Obsessed much??

I'm planning to arrive at the parks on December 13, 2014. This is not the cheapest week in December but a great week for crowds

I just got off the phone with a CM at Disney Dining. I'm trying for May 22 which is 52 days from now. He said that date is not open yet, and no reservations have been made for that day (which means it's not sold out either!). He said generally the reservations open 45 days in advance. And he suggested calling daily to check if it's been opened yet.

So not much of an update but I thought I'd share here in case it helps someone!

Were r u coming from and r u flying? My only concern about going that time is snow and not being able to get to the airport and/or flying out and home.

Once again a cm was totally wrong. For the dessert party the whole month opens at once. So as soon as reservations for may open, you can book any day from may 1st to the 31st. No one currently knows when they will open the reservations in the system. A few month ago it was 60 days out, now its more like 30. May should open any time now...guessing in the next 2-3 days and the you can make reservations for any day in may.

I'm in Mass so I have to worry about these things, you don't in CA. I visited CA once it is beautiful there. Have you been to Disneyland?

I would love for them to open both May and June at the same time. This is the last ressie I have to complete. The waiting is killing me.

I thought someone had posted that reservations are released to the system at 7 am and 3 pm, but with the way rumors fly around here, it could just bull feathers.
