Is the Wishes Desert party worth the steep price of $24 (especially for kids)?

Do you really need a reservation?

Is there a better view of the fireworks?

What other perks?

Is it EVERY night?

Monetarily it's completely up to you and nobody can tell you if it is since you are the only one that can justify your finances and kid(s) palette/appetite.

Do you really need a reservation? OH YEAH

Is there a better view of the fireworks? Experience wise or closeness?

What other perks? Relaxing environment, delish desserts and you can sit for an hour beforehand. Win/Win/Win for me.

Is it EVERY night? Except Sundays.

Will they be doing during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party as well?

My best friend was there last week and their party of 4 got in with no problem and no ADR. She said the desserts were very nice and rich and that each of them could only eat a few pieces (she actually got sick).

Personally for me, no its not worth $24 to eat a few pieces of 'sweets'.

I am sure it is during the MNSSHP because when I called concierge desk for Boardwalk Inn today, she said it was open for 10/8 and 10/9 and those are both MNSSHP dates....

$47.00 dollars for my husband and I is going to be a NO. First of all I feel this just gives Disney the go ahead to keep adding cost to things that use to be free. I know you get dessert, but can you eat 23.50 worth of sweets? We are eating at 6 at Ohanna's. I just can't image eating again in a couple of hours. If you go on a Halloween Party night, why would you add more sweets to all the candy you get.. To steep for my pocket book. I will save my 47 dollars and buy something I can take home.

No - we didn't think it was worth the lower price in July, let alone the new higher price. Warm and mushy desserts/fruit, warm beverages, seriously hot and crowded, and unorganized. By the way, the chocolate covered strawberries were nasty, according to my DH as they were warm and mushy. Yuck! Have read several other reviews with the same results, so hopefully all of you waiting for those chocolate strawberries aren't disappointed. DH has said he has had much better desserts elsewhere - the desserts were not very good at all, and he is a dessert lover.

The view of the fireworks was nice, and I got some stunning photos on my new Canon G10, but other than that, we won't ever be doing it again.

Good luck, Tiger

We thought it was worth the price we paid in Aug. but we were doing it as a gift for DD for her birthday. It was actually cheaper than ordering her a specialty cake. We enjoyed it and had a great time, we had great seats so we saw the fireworks from our seats at the table.

We are going on DH's birthday. It would be expensive to order him a cake, plus he loves desserts. As a birthday present, it isn't too bad.

We are going with my mother who will be in the middle of another round of chemo. The dessert party will enable her to enjoy the fireworks without a crush of people (she's nervous about needing to use a scooter for the first time). Some great memories are worth the price.

However, I would not take my family of 5 to the dessert party, unless for a special occasion (birthday etc). Our youngest will be a Disney "adult" on our next family trip.

Yes, you need a reservation. We did it before the price change and no I don't think it was worth it. I would not do it again. The desserts looked good but tasted blah. I have never viewed Wishes from there before. I did not like it. Just my opinion.

I have heard that this is not satnding room only with very little seating, no more assigned seats. So have said that everyone crowds to the rail to see the fireworks. It probably won't be as bad as being on mainstreet, but there will be a crowd element there.
