Wishes Cruise

Ok.. I need some help. I got a pin code for the October deal (felt like I won the lottery), we werent planning a trip to Disney but with an offer that good decided to jump on it. So we will be in Disney October 3rd through October 8th.

I decided for Mothers Day to give my mom a gift of renting one of the boats to see the MK fireworks, wishes. I told her if I am not able to get the reservation (I told her it is hard), I will find her another gift. But I would oh so love to do this for her, she loves fireworks and loves boats. But I need a good stratergy to get a reservation and I know my friends on the DIS were the best to help me out.

What number do I call 90 days prior?? What codes do I press, as soon as I get on the phone?? I saw the information in regards to the illuminations cruise, do I use the same information, to get them on the telephone quickly.

Where do I rent the boat from?? How long do I rent the boat for and at what time do I make the reservation for? How do I tell if disney is doing the wishes on the particular evening I am renting the boat?

Any information would be so so helpful.

The number to call is 407-939-7529 aka 407-WDW-PLAY (in case you forget the number). You ask them for the Wishes Cruise and they'll ask how many are in your group. It's about 1 hour and 30 minutes long. I would think they wouldn't book a Wishes Cruise if there is no Wishes that night, but I could be wrong. They will tell you what time to get there, although I will say the time of the fireworks did change and so then did our boat time. I noticed it a couple of day before the cruise and called to confirm the time change so I don't know if they would have called me or not. So if you do get the Cruise I would recommend calling to double check times etc a day or two before the Cruise. We left from WL but you can leave from any resort in that area. I'm not sure what numbers to push, but you can call early and just push the numbers, a dry run so to speak. I'd do it a day or two before because sometimes the numbers you push change in automated systems. Honestly though, I called about 6 weeks before our Spring Break trip and got a Wishes cruise for Easter night. It was wonderful! I did call a couple of times before I booked Wishes Cruise but I asked for Illuminations the first few times because I had seen so much talk about it on here. I was worried I'd be disappointed with the Wishes Cruise but it was so beautiful and perfect I got all misty eyed. Best of luck that's a wonderful Mother's Day gift!
