Hi all!

I know I can call Disney and ask, but I get much better answers here!! How do you go about booking a Wishes Cruise? I was thinking of booking it as an anniversary surprise for my DH (well, and me!). Is there a minimum number or could I book it for the two of us? Does anyone remember how much it cost?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

You can do almost the same thing for free, Go to the polly hotel and go on the wee boat that takes you to the GF then MK (ON DO IN REVERSE) at about the time as the electro parade is on the lagoon. The boat will stop to let the parade past so you will get the best view of it and when you arrive back at the GF or Polly to have the best view of the fireworks (polly beach best) you can then spend the wishes money on a meal at ohana and a bottle of champane/cocktails on polly beach to watch the fireworks. But wishes would be good too I was letting you know about this incase you thought that it was the only way to get the lagoon/castle view of the fireworks.. If you are there out of season you usually get the little boats to yourselve anyway. we even had the boat to ourselve on new years eve!!

VIP Cruise on Grand I Yacht – a 45-foot Sea Ray yacht staffed by a captain and deckhand, 13 guests maximum, available at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, $400.00 per hour,1 hour minimum booking required. Must call (407)-824-2439 to book.

I am thinking of doing this for the last day of our wedding trip. You need to call 90 days out to try and get the day you want.

I know you can also do it on pontoon, but woiuldnt be quite as romantic I don't think!

My advice - be on the line when the call centre opens 90 days out. And be prepared to go on another day - they are popular and there aren't many boats. If you're not precious about the day you do the cruise call 90 days out from your first night so that if you're not successful you can try again the next day.

We did the wishes cruise on our wedding night and it was amazing - highly recommended :)

How do you know what time the Electro Parade will be on the lagoon? I have never managed to catch it before!! Is it every night?

Hi I check the time when I am over there. I think its about 9.30pm (but please check as it may have changed since I was last there). Its always been on every time we go - We go on days when the wishes fireworks are due to be shown in MK. (We are usualy in peak times Xmas/ NewYear/ 4th july so it may just be because of that). Combining this free night with a nice meal and a bottle champagne is how we have spent the last few New Years Eves that we have had in WDW and hoping to do the same agian this year:cheer2: Good luck with it all hope you have a great time

The water pagent starts about 9.15 at Poly and works its way round all the hotels by 10.00 - we have stayed at GF and watched the fireworks at the dock which is lovely too - you could do that and then get the boat back and that doesnt cost anything

Have fun planning:thumbsup2

We ve booked the Grand 1 for the evening of our wedding in May :woohoo: for a Wishes cruise. I was so happy we managed to book this as id had my heart set on it for a very long time & knew just how hard its suppose to be to book. We called before the 90 day mark to get to know all the promts & was able to book this 7am 90 days out.
Am thrilled as its gonna be the perfect way to end our wedding day:love:
Theres only gonna be 3 of us taking the cruise so if you re looking to book the Grand 1 you ll def be able to book this for just 2 people:thumbsup2 . There are other options for a Wishes cruies too, you can hire a Pontoon boat. They work out much cheaper than the G1
