Wishes Cruise

I am trying to decide if we are doing the Illuminations Cruise or the Wishes cruise. This is our gift to the family for taking us on the trip.

If you have done Wishes can you tell me where exactly you see the fireworks from and how the view is???

You watch Wishes on the lake directly in front of the entrance, with a straight on view of the castle. We did this in Oct, for my birthday, and have booked it again for our family trip (4 adults 2 kids) in Feb. I thought the view was incredible, we saw the castle and everything well. We also saw the water parade and all the info that our Capt. gave us as we toured all the hotel perimeters on the water was great! I would suggest spending the extra $$ for the piped in music. I don't think it would have been the same w/out it!

This is great information. We have done the Illuminations Cruise 3 times and have loved it each time, but have been hesitant to do the Wishes Cruise even though we've thought about it many times. I guess we just felt we wouldn't be able to see it as well and we didn't want to be disappointed. I think we will seriously think about doing it.

You can depart from (I believe) any of the MK resort marinas (possibly not WL... I don't know for sure). We were picked up at the Poly. I would definitely recommend the cruise. I did a birthday cruise for my wife, and it was magical!

I have been on two Wishes cruises and let me tell you it makes you not want to ever have to see Wishes from a different vantage point. It really is a breathtaking view and a whole new perspective on a wonderful show.
