Wishes Cruise - Would you do it again?

Ours will be $250. That includes the piped in music. Apparently they don't all include that. I think that was $50 more. HTH!

Fostrmom2mny - You just made my day. My sister, my 17 yr old DS, and I are going to Disney next week and are hoping to do a Wishes cruise. Plus - CM Cara is my daughter!! It was fun to find her name in this thread.

We've done the private Wishes cruise and the MG one as well. The "character" on the boat for the MG one is your captain "Patch" who is a pirate. Capt. Hook and Mr. Smee are at the dessert reception at the CR before you board your boat. When we did this one, we were a group of 16, and I think we shared our boat with 3 other families. It wasn't a problem though, we had so much fun! One of the other families was there to celebrate the parent's 50th wedding anniversary, so Patch made us all sing "Kiss the Girl" and everytime we got to the chorus they had to kiss. It was worth every penny! We wanted it again for this trip but it's not available for the night we needed to do it, so we've got 2 pontoon boats booked.

Since you have done both the MG cruise and the private cruise, which do you prefer?

I actually liked the GG one better. The private one is fun too, but our driver just took us around the lake a couple of times before the EWP, while on the GG one, there were jokes, sing a longs, trivia, things to keep you interested and having fun while waiting for the fireworks to start. They're both good though, we're doing the private one this time because there was a GG one the night that we needed it.
