Wishes cruise from Polynesian resort

We have this cruise booked for a birthday. Has anyone taken this cruise and did you have the decorations incuded. I am wondering how the boat is decorated and if it is worth the extra money (don't want to end up with a banner saying happy birthday and nothing else). Also has anyone ever ordered a cake for this wishes cruise. We were thinking a castle cake but am not sure where to order it from.

The boats are usually decorated with a banner, streamers and balloons I think. As far as ordering a cake, if you're leaving from the Polynesian, I think you have to order a cake from the Polynesian. However, I think the castle cakes are only available from the Grand Floridian bakery. I'd call both resorts and ask to speak with someone in private dining. Explain what you're looking for and hoping to do and someone should be able to give you some suggestions on what's available to you.
