I wasn't really interested in doing the Wishes Cruise, but then I said why not. The problem is, I'm a couple of days past my calling days, and I wonder what my chances are if I call from time to time to see if they got a Wishes Cruise cancellation.
Has anyone ever gotten a WC after the 90 day mark?

I did.
I was a few days late calling for our July 3 cruise, and even then there were apparently plenty of boats/cruises left. This was for the Wishes Cruise.

Keep trying, you never know what will open up.

I would certainly try calling! I just cancelled a Wishes cruise yesterday for June 26 since I was able to book the Illuminations one for the 28th. Didn't think we needed to do both. Plus I am now a HUGE beleiver in checking for cancellations as I managed to get CRT PS's the day after my 90 day mark...and I called in the evening for that, too. You just never know what people will do as they begin to set their trip plans. Also, I know that for my two boats, my 90 day mark was before the hours were posted so people's plans may change after they find out the schedule. Good Luck!

I booked a Wishes Cruise well past the 90 day mark. I'd say it was at least a month past the 90 day point and I had my choice of 3 nights to pick from. I don't think they are as difficult to get as the Illuminations cruises. The cm on the phone said they were becoming more popular lately but obviously with a few days that week to pick from, it's nothing like booking for Illuminations.

It can't hurt to try!

I just booked a Wishes Cruise yesterday for May 5. I was offered other days that week also.

Several times while calling for an Illuminations cruise I was offered a Wishes cruise. We did take a Wishes cruise then Poly concierge was able to snag an Illuminations cruise for us. We decided to just keep both--never been on either one.

Wow, thanks so much for the advice and info. I'm going to call and see if I get lucky!

I just called in the middle of the afternoon and asked if a Wishes Cruise was available for July 10th. The CM said there were still several boats available for that date, so now I have a Wishes Cruise and an Illuminations Cruise, am I overdoing it LOL?

I told her that I thought it would be more difficult than this to get a WC, and she said that not many people know about WC yet, and that there are more available pontoons because the lake to view Wishes is a lot larger than the water by Epcot, thus allowing more pontoons to occupy water space.

So if you missed out on the Illuminations Cruise, (but I still say to keep trying for cancellations!), Wishes Cruises are a lot easier to get.

Refresh my memory -- what is the cost for a Illum. cruise? And how many can ride (12 is in my mind, but maybe I'm wrong). And that cruise is just a boat ride and viewing, correct -- no food or beverage unless you pay the extra for it. I recall seeing something about a birthday or anniversary cruise -- but can't remember what the extra cost was.

THe other aspect of Wishes cruising that may have made it more available is that it requires a grand gathering (or the combination on your part of enough folks to "consititute" a grand gathering). If you aren't planning something like that, you would never even glance at the info on it and miss it altogether.

You can book Wishes cruises just like the Illuminations cruises that are $120--12 people max, no minimum. They also have a Grand Gathering event that is similar and the cost is $30 per adult (cant remember the kids prices)--8 people minimum and you pay per person.

Yes, this is what I have, just for myself and my 2 sons, to spend a magical evening together. They asked me how many people, I said 3, and the CM said they ask in order to know how many life jackets will be needed.
