Wishes Cruise and special cake?

I am hoping to book a Wishes Cruise for our trip next year, leaving from the Contemporary.

Does anyone know what options there are to have a special-order cake delivered to the cruise?

Has anyone had any experience in doing this with the Contemporary?

Haven't done the Fireworks Cruses however I do know that you must book exactly at the 90 day mark EARLY in the morning to get what you want. The reservations go FAST.

Does anyone have any experience with having a special cake delivered to a Wishes Cruise at the Contemporary?

(and thanks to PP for the advice in getting a cruise booked. I have my fingers crossed and my alarm set )

Our friends surprised us this past summer with the Wishes cruise one night during our Disney vacation. We left from the Wilderness Lodge and had cake while we watched the fireworks! I didn't make the reservation, but my friend was telling me about it afterwards. I believe you can request the cake when you make the reservation. We had three options (that we all voted on) and ended up with a chocolate cake that was really good. As we were boarding for the cruise, our captain brought it on board with him. We also had snacks and sodas, which the captain provided to us as well.

The cruise is incredible, btw. Watching the fireworks from the middle of the lagoon in front of the Magic Kingdom.... words can't describe it.
