I was considering booking a Wishes Celebration Cruise for my dd's 6th B-Day...

Questions....is it worth it :confused3 ? There will only be 3 of us (possibly 6 if some friends can meet us there) and I didn't know how it was. I've heard reviews that the smoke from the fireworks can impede viewing? Can you take cake on the boat??

Any insights would be appreciated!

TIA!

I just booked a Wishes cruise for our upcoming trip in June (non-celebration though). When I made the reservation they asked if we would be celebrating a special occassion. So if you let them know when you are booking it that it will be someone's birthday, they will provide the cake (and I believe the boat is decorated too). As for the smoke, that would only be an issue w/the IllumiNations cruise. You are far enough away for Wishes that it's not a concern at all. I believe the celebaration cruises are with the larger boats only, which means they are $250. The more people you have to split it with the better. If you cannot find someone perhaps you can post here to see if another DISer will be there at the same time and interested in splitting it with you.

We have one booked next week for DS's birthday:

Pontoon w/out music is $200
Pontoon w/music is $250
These both come w/"snacks and beverages" (pretzels and soda)

Birthday decorations (a banner on the boat) were an extra price (I think $25-35).
Birthday cake was an extra price (???).

We went w/the pontoon w/music and no decorations :thumbsup2
