Wishes cancelled on MVMCP nites!

Just wanted to let people know to recheck park hours before you go.

I just rechecked park hours for my trip and noticed that they removed the Wishes fireworks times at 6pm from the nights of MVMCP!! Now I have to redo part of my itinerary!
I was planning on seeing Wishes after dinner at CP then going to MVMCP on Nov. 30th.

Will they show the Wishes fireworks during MVMCP? Or will they be a different Christmas version?

In the DVC newsletter, it stated something like wishes with a holiday twist.

I do know that the MVMCP fireworks are 360 degree where as the regular fireworks are behind the castle.

There was a detate on the boards a while back if wishes would be shown on MVMCP nights.

MHO was no, because a cast member had told me along time ago that it takes a better part of a day for the pyrotechies to set the display.

PS: 3 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!

At past MVMCP's, The regular fireworks show was shown with a few extra minutes of Christmas Fireworks at the end. I would think that they would do dthe same with Wishes.

I probably did read that before but I am starting to get pre-vacation panic!

You know:: did I forget anything?, what else do I need to pack, etc!!! I was up at 5 am today obsessing!

We have been to MVMCP twice. Both times the showed Fantasy in the Sky at 6:00 and then had special MVMCP firewords later at 9:00.

During MNSSHP this year, I noticed they did not do Wishes at the regular close of the park at 6:00. They only had the MNSSHP fireworks which were similar to Fantasy in the Sky with added 360 degree bursts. It was not at all similar to Wishes.

Possibly the change to Wishes (more setup time and closing off a small part of the park) eliminated the ability to do a regular fireworks show AND the special show during MNNSHP and MVMCP.

For those going to MVMCP, I hope it is a version of Wishes as we were disappointed with the MNSSHP fireworks after seeing Wishes the night before.
