WISH Team volunteering and cheering for January 2011

Thanks Coach. That helps. So in the map where McD's is, I would follow the ramp up to Osceola Parkway and set up there, right?

On the photo, there is a large parking lot next to the McD's lot. Is that lot for public parking?

My vote would be just after the out and back just after mile 21 on the Entrance Ramp to World Drive, but where Charles has pointed out is also a great place.

One other place that might be unique to me is when we are running miles 14-16 or so on I think it's Bear Island Road. Spectators I don't think could get there nor is there much room anyway. It's just a very tough stretch for me.

Bear Island Road is a "bear" for me too. That's the first real mental part of the race for me, because it's such a boring stretch.

In the past Anne and a few others have been along the route by the out & back portion (I think near the turn around). Not sure if they'll be there again this year. I was hoping to find an additional spot just to add a little more support on the course.

Ah good point. They are always there right before the turn around! I think Tracy and crew are planning on being right after we leave the studios again after Volunteering. It's awesome for you to be doing this by the way so Thank you in advance!

I'm all for just about any place I can find a smiling face. I thank you all for thinking about doing this.

Just merged the two threads regarding WISH Team volunteering and cheering for January 2011. It's probably too late for formal volunteering, but it's never too late for those thinking of cheering along the course.

Hopefully those who have a few moments might be interested.
