Can someone please tell me what the prices were/are for the wicking tanks, tees and long sleeve tees? Thanks!

I haven't read all teh responses yet. Here's my 2cents

Beyond the "hey, great shirt" comments, I had one woman in tears tell me the back of my shirt was what was getting her to the finish line. Nuff said.

Even though lots of people are catching onto the "safety yellow"/lime greenish color, our shirts still stand out. They do come in wicking material, I just found that for the full this year the material was heavier than other wicking shirts I owned. In the end, I don't think it would have mattered one bit.

We have a repoire with "the Shirt Guy". He's done our orders two years in a row with out a glitch (correct me if I'm wrong, Carrie). There's something to be said for customer loyalty and assurance.

The only think I would change is to go ahead and order a wicking tank this year. The shirt guy warned tanks might not work well for women, but Wendy sported one superbly!

I am definitely against orange!

Lily's looked great on her too! Besides, not like showing a litttle running bra beneath would be a big deal.

That is a great example of how helpful our shirt guy is. Making sure we know what we're getting. Checking our art for little details. This year he had Sunny move a star just a hair to make it look better.

I did do a pretty extensive search for safety lime wicking clothing yesterday adn nothing else came close to what we wanted. If Dave can get lighter material through his SIL, we can add another option. Not to sound cocky, but I can almost gurantee it will not be as bright. It sounds like most of us are mostly ok with what we have. I think the tank would help many people who thought the sleeveless were too heav or the collars too thick. Not to mention, we can get cotton/poly for the scream teams, wicking sweatshirts and long-sleeved. It's great to be able to offer so many options from one place. JMO.

After Dave gets teh scoop from his SIL, I'll get a thread together for shirt orders and post a link here.

I'll have all of that in the order thread. Seems like it ranged from $15 to $19 (long sleeve being most expensive), but it depends on how many get ordered.

I would order 1 or 2 more depending on what our final choices are. I ordered the tank originally thinking it would work over a LS shirt in case it was cold like last year. I ended up wearing it alone for the full (although I NEVER wear sleeveless shirts for any reason) and while it was comfortable it was also too big (since I bought it to go over a shirt rather than as a stand-alone shirt).

I really like the t-shirts but I hate the collar - it is just too high and really irritates me during runs - especially when it is warm. I am considering modifying mine by putting in a v-neck and taking in the sides for a more flattering fit. I really really wish that our "shirt guy" had girl-cut shirts as I find those unisex boxy cut shirts unflattering on my body

Anyway, I'll be in for a couple of shirts when we get an order ready so that maybe we have new shirts for Minnie

Hi All, I haven't heard anything from my step-SIL about the shirts. Note - this is not the Cool Aunt you all met. I also did a ton of searching yesterday, and didn't find anything as bright as what we have. I also agree that the alert shirt guy we've been working with has been absolutely great, and see no real reason to change. Carrie, I would say go forward with the shirt order. You've always done such a great job with it.

A couple weeks to order. A couple weeks to pay. 6 weeks for printing. 1 to 2 weeks afor me to ship. We should be fine to get these before the Minnie.

FYI - I e-mailed our shirt guy to see if there's any chance of getting a v-neck or a female-type cut. It's a long shot, but at the very least, maybe he can put a bug in his supplier's ear. You never know. I'll let you know what he says.

Then again, how flatering is lime green ever going to be? It serves it's purpose, though. Except when teh EMT commetned on not being able to tell how Judy's coloring was with the color of her shirt.

I'm sorry. I didn't know you missed that. You were so much better so quickly after they came. I hope you don't mind my posting that. It was one of those stressful moments when the comic relief was really needed.
