Today is my quit day. I am smoking the last pack of cigarettes I will have. I have been smoking for over 30 years, Quit twice before but picked them up again. Both times during a family crisis.

No more car that smells like an ashtray. No more head to the back door of the building for a fix. No more searching WDW for the smoking area.

I'm nervous but I am also determined. So, wish me luck because I really want to put these things down for once and all.

Good Luck to you! Sunday is my quit day....my last pack of cigarettes from the carton. I have smoked for 23 years and FINALLY have the willpower and determination to quit too. I hope we are both successful!

Good Luck, I hope that this time next week we are both smoke free! :yay:

:cool1: You can do it!!! Keep telling yourself that for as long as it takes!!

I started smoking when I was 15, I am 38 now. Two weeks ago was the one year anniversary of my quit date. I am still a non-smoker.

Mumbling Jumba and kellyg403, if you need someone to talk to, vent at or anything, please feel free to pm me. I want so very much for you to feel as good as I do, not get sick so often or for as long, enjoy food, etc...

I even have Raynaud's, my hands and feet get cold so easily, I had to be very very careful against frostbite. I am pleased to say that even this is eased so much from last year! My circulation seems so much better.

Good luck and I'm here for ya, if you need it.

I wish you the best of luck. Congratulations on making the choice to stop, you'll be so much healthier!

Good luck to you!!! Yesterday was my 10 year anniversary of quitting!!!

best of luck! :goodvibes

Awesome!

My prayers are with you. Quitting smoking is the best thing I have ever done for myself!

Congratulations!! It's been 8 years for me and I'm still off them. Not that I don't have the cravings still every now and then, but I don't miss the smell in my hair, my clothes and my car. I also like having the money that I used to spend on cigarettes for Disney!!!

Best of luck!!! You can do this and it will be the best gift ever for yourself and your family!

Lung cancer killed my mother--I know how hard quitting can be but quit you will!!

Good for you! :thumbsup2 Good luck to you, OP, and to all of you who are quitting! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Congrats to you!!!

For anyone that wants to quit, there is a book that I have heard is absolutely great. I think it is called How To Quit Smoking or Easy Way to Stop Smoking, by Allen Carr.

I know of two people that read this book and quit. Just a thought if anyone was interested.

I know you can do this!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'll hug you and love you and call you George, until you've quit.
