Wish- little mermaid staterooms?

Ugh. Well, forget that. I thought other than the Moana Suite all the Concierge rooms were Tangled themed. HATE Little Mermaid.
'Had to laugh, Dug. Everyone gives such love to the LM and I don't get it, either. 'Thought I was alone.

We are booked in 11006 for the maiden voyage, 5 adults $15,900
Did the price for the first 2 adults pretty much match the starting Concierge price that was listed online? They listed $9439 for the MV. I’m not interested in the MV but just curious for another sailing.

Thanks in advance!
Jason

Well now I gotta ask why...

The message it sends. Give up everything about you identity and your family just for "love" (which is really lust since she doesn't even know him when she makes the choice). I don't have kids, but NOT the message I'd want my kids getting.

Judging by the pricing it looks like all these rooms have been booked already!

You humble me, Dug. I'm far more shallow than that. I just think she isn't that bright. Let's face it, she can't remember the words "feet", "street" and "burn".....CONSISTENTLY! :confused3

Whats the price difference between the LM concierge room and the verandah concierge rooms?

Eh, her obsession with the human world predated seeing Eric and saving his life. Part of Your World had way more to do with what she was yearning for than who she was yearning for. Their courtship, while hilariously short, isn't unique in fairy tales. Eric was going to propose until Ursula showed up, voice or no. He loved HER. Would she have given up her voice for legs without Eric..? Maybe not... but she certainly wouldn't have done it to win love in the merworld either. Moana was drawn to the sea, Ariel was drawn to the land. Some of us aren't happy where we are with the life laid out for us and that is OK... she still loves her family. We don't stop being who we are inside just because we move away (says the woman still living 10 miles from her childhood home).

Along with the Story line/Lessons being terrible, The animation itself drives me batty. The only thing I like from the movie is the music because there are so many classic songs. I overwhelmingly preferred the Broadway Musical to the movie.

I wouldn't be opposed to these rooms as much as others because the furnishings on DCL always tend to be much more subtle and classy touches.

It's pretty much the same. I booked the concierge room 11000 yesterday, just because it was the only concierge available. Today same cruise date and the verandah popped up. I was thinking about getting it since it would be verandah, but it was port side. I didn't take it, but now kinda regretting it since I like verandah.

Nothing wrong with Port side!

The ships do not always back in at Castaway. And even when they do, I find the natural side of the island much prettier. Plus you can wave at the Island Crew as you leave!

And you can watch the docking and undocking process. My son once found that interesting to watch as he & his grandma had breakfast on our port-side verandah.

It is not a bad view at all- it's lovely, in fact as you see a lot of undeveloped land beyond the dock. Some people prefer looking at the developed side of the island but neither side is an unpleasant view. You're not looking at garbage bins or industrial buildings or anything like that at all.

We tend to try to book starboard for our Caribbean/Bahamian cruises, but that's due to wanting to get a view of the ship's fireworks from our cabin, not due to the view we'll get at Castaway Cay.
