Wish List on MDE?

So I was looking at my itinerary for our May trip, and I saw that on my Epcot day where we'd picked TT that it had Soarin' in my "wish list." And then I added RnR for our DHS day as part of my "wish list." What is this? It says something about adding it to my itinerary if booking times become available. Just curious if anyone's experienced a wish list fulfillment.

I, too, would like to know what, if anything, "Wish List" does for me. I already have the FoF parade and Wishes on my itinerary, but I keep checking for FP+ options. Is there some easier navigation to FP+ when they become available from my "Wish List" or some other advantage to the "Wish List." I truly do not understand the difference between listing it on my daily itinerary and putting it in a "Wish List." Please, someone explain!
