Wish Dining Rotation/ Palo Night

We are on a 3-night Wish sailing this November and have decided we'd like to try to skip the Worlds of Marvel for a "date night" at Palo while our little one enjoys some kid club time. A few questions...

1- Do we book Palo in advance? If so, will we know our dining rotation to be able to book it for Marvel night?
2- If we book onboard, where do we go and when to request?
3- Do I need to pre-book the kids club for that evening? Is there a chance it would be closed/ there would not be room for her during our dinner?

You will not know your dining rotation in advance, but can request one. So for instance if you would like to go to Palo on the second night of the cruise you could request a rotation where the Marvel MDR is on the second night of the cruise.
People have reported several locations for booking the adult restaurants once on board. Luna seems to be common. You might also look to see if Palo is available in the app once you are on board.
You are no longer required to make reservations for the clubs, there will be room for your daughter that evening.

Just make sure it’s not your 1923 night. Other than that there isn’t really an experience you’d kick yourself for missing.

Concur with @dcassetta, and want to clarify: I've not been able to request a full ROTATION but rather a specific MDR on a specific night. They have canned rotations that they've dropped us into based on the one request - in this case Marvel on 2nd night if you get a Palo rezzie on that night or whatever. Of course, it's only a request, and I've been successful with the requests both over the phone and via email. Every request has been honored, which has been great.

Just to clarify...if your child is under 3 years old (or not toilet-trained), you will need to book time in the nursery. For kids 3 and up, no advance notice is needed. Kids 3-12 can be checking in the Oceaneers Club at any time it's open, from morning through late evening. It is theoretically possible for the Club to reach capacity, in which case you'd need to wait to check in a child until someone else leaves, but I have not heard of this happening on any of the DCL ships in at least the past 5 years.
