Booking our cruise for 2 adults verandah on the Wish. Wondering which would be better Deck 6 or 7. Does it make a difference for motion sickness as well as sound level? Thanks!

Just got off the Wish and was in 7624 and 7626. I don't think we ever felt motion in the room, and it was very quiet. Couldn't even hear the next door neighbor (my mom) when the connecting door was closed.

I know it varies by speed, itinerary and weather. (The further between ports the faster they need to go.) We were on Deck 8 forward (8002, you can't get any more forward on that deck), but we didn't feel any motion on our sailing. Not even in Palo, or the MDRs aft, which usually has some vibration from the engines. That was probably the smoothest sailing we've ever been on.

The seas weren't particularly calm and there were waterspouts and heavy sustained winds as one point, but we hardly felt a thing.

The lower mid ship cabins are recommended. I usually pick deck 2 because I don’t like windows on deck 1 on Magic class. But same recommendation applies here, low and middle.
