WISh Check-in week of August 3

I lost 1-2 lbs this week. I was hoping for a bigger loss since the last too weeks I've increased my exercising. I guess I'm building muscle - some of them have been hurting a bit so I guess something is going on. This means I have about 3 more to go before I get my 15lbs clippie. I really wanted it before vacation but I doubt that will happen. I'll be weighing in 2 days early (Sat) since we leave on Sun. Maybe that woosh fairy will pay a visit. I just really wish I was seeing some visible results - like clothes feeling a bit more comfortable or not being out of breath when I come up the stairs. Two flights still leaves me panting yet when I'm done my 2 mile WATP tape I'm breathing okay, even when I'm doing it I'm not as bad as when I'm on the stairs. I am glad that I am exercising more and am losing weight even if it's slower than I would like.

I've got a new clippie ... I've got a new clippie !!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I am down another 1 1/2 pounds this week ... and that got me my 20lb clippie! A former co-worker told me I was "looking pretty skinny these days" (and I'm far from skinny ... but the fact that she noticed was incredible). And we leave for WDW in just 11 days ... does it get any better than this ???

Congrats to all this week ... whether you lost, gained, or maintained, you're still here ... and that's awesome 'cause I really need you! 'Til next week, my friends ... take care and stay healthy. :)

I'm going on week two of my exercise plan, and so far thanks to the support of this board, I've gotten at least a token amount of exercise in every single day. :) Beyond just walking around the office or stuff.

Good Monday Afternoon Everyone,

I am ecstatic to report that I lost four pounds this week!! That lets me upgrade to a 15 pound clippie lost with WISH and 55 pounds total. I'm not sure what the trick was because I did everything. I drank a "battleship of water" to quote someone from a few weeks ago, I added one protein with my breakfast which lets me get through the whole morning without being hungry and I journalled every day.

I am pleased that so many of you are doing so well during these dog days of summer. I still have 10 pounds to make my mini goal for our WDW trip. Not sure if I'll get there but we'll keep on trying.

Have a super week everyone and we'll see less of you next week.

Ok on my second full week of the 6 week body makeover program I lost 3 lbs so that is 12 total in 2 weeks.. I am very happy with that considering I went to my mom's this weekend and pretty much ate what I wanted including 2 pieces of homemade chocolate cake w/ peanut butter cream cheese frosting ( that I made from scratch for my dad's birthday ) I am strictly on program for the week ( mon - friday ) maybe have to slip on sat for a bit but then back on .. Hope everyone stays positive on getting healthy - don't focus soo much on the lost poundage.. Michelle

I'm down 3.5 pounds since last week, a total of 8.5 pounds. I'm aiming for the 10 lb. clippie by the end of the week!

Congratulations to all of you!

Hi all! Congrats to all of you loser's!! I have lost 1 lb. this week, which I'm happy with! I'm still battling this bronchitis, so any step is a good step! ;)

i've lost 3 pounds this week...and that was enough to bump up my clippie to 10 pounds lost!! woo hoo!!

i've only got 30 more pounds to go for my personal goal...onward and downward!!

Did my first 'official' weigh in this morning.........and after 3 days at Wdw and ice cream yesterday (my very last pre-full-blown induction treat) I've LOST 4 pounds  Today my weigh in was 204#....last Tuesday was 208. I can't believe I still lost weight at WDW even though we were very, very good while there.

On to induction and ketosis :)

Well, I didn't lose any this week - I gained a pound. But I cheated several times with desserts and a drink, so I will be happy if the gain is ONLY a pound! I had a dinner with old friends at a very posh restaurant and had to have a drink and dessert. (They were both absolutely delicious, not just because I have gone without lately either! Worth the splurge. I did avoid the very yummy looking bread basket though!) Yesterday was our annual family picnic and there were way too many goodies to pass up. But I did have small portions - I kind of had to since things are starting to taste too sweet now!

I'm back on track for this week though. I have to be - I accidently miscalculated and thought I lost 23 pounds since beginning Atkins - when it's been 17 (16 w/today's gain.) That was kind of depressing! Lack of chocolate makes my math synapses go kerflooey. :p

I weighed for the sake of the check in here and I have lost 1 pound! I'm pretty thrilled with that and it makes my headache seem worthwhile.

Congrats to the losers!

I lost 4 pounds last week!! That earns me the 25 clippie!!
In the clippie clippie clippie clippie clippie room.....I did the clippie dance!!!
Wow! It is so inspiring to read of everyone else's success!! Even if you maintained, or gained a little, we are all here and checking in for support! That is great! We should all feel proud of ourselves!!
I am shooting for the 30 pound clippie by Labor Day, after that, 3 pounds will bring me halfway there!!!
Great Job everyone!!!:Pinkbounc Have a great week!!:Pinkbounc

Monica, your 25 pound clippie makes you look so slim! Congratulations!

Honeymo, you’ve lost 1-2 pounds, and you want more. Well, it will come, and remember, slow and steady, slow and steady. Remember, you didn’t put it on overnight, and it will take time to come off, but off it will. Keep strong, sweetie, you can do it!

Mary Liz, I know how you have worked to get that new clippie. We’re all proud of you, hun! That 3 mile WATP is a killer, and you’ve done that, too. Weigh to go.

Tammy, I know that for me, exercise is the key, and I think of you every time I see my new exercise clippie. Keep walking and moving!

Another bright and shiny clippie, Susan. And you did it while on that medication, too. You are looking mighty fine, hun, and we’re all so proud of you. You help me to set my goals.
Thanks!

Oooooh, Michelle, that cakes sounds scumptious! Could you pm me the recipe? Not only do you bake, but you lose weight at the same time? All right! And I like your ending comment not to focus so much (or only) on the number of the scale. Good advice for all.

LuvTigger, your determination is showing. We’re all waiting to hear and see your new clippie in the very near future!

Tiffany, I see a positive outlook and that’s good! Keep healthy, hun, and well done on the 1 pound loss.

Brandie, I like your style. Only 30 more to go. You can do it! I know you can.

Kitster, I see ONEderland in your future. :bounce:

Lisa, good thinking. You see where the “problem” was, and are okay with that. It sounds like you had a good time at your dinner and family reunion, and are ready to return to work. You are
right. Some things are worth the splurge! ;)

Lori, seeing the scales move does make the discomfort worth while, isn’t it. And I understand that the headache goes away eventually. Stay strong!

Beastlover, the glare from that new clippie made me reach for my sunglasses. The colour matches your outfit today. Good choice!

Don, you mean it wasn’t cold water that you had? :jester: Glad you had a good time and still lost a pound. Weigh to go!

Keep up the good work, people!

I only have a minute but I wanted to pop in and report that I lost 3lbs. this week!!! :teeth:

That's 8 total now which puts me at 216.0, 2 more and I get to upgrade my clippie!!! I sure hope to make it there in the coming week. :)

I lost 2.5 big ones this week! So that's 53.5 lbs in total and 4.5 since officially joining WISH. Yeah for all us losers!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc I lost 2 lbs this week! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

As I read this thread seems like I saw a lot of shiny new clippies out there! Congrats to you, and to all the losers, but especially to those of you who have gained or maintained because you're the ones who really inspire me! It's not easy to hang in there when you don't see the results you want, but you're on the right path to better health! You will see those results if you stick to your plan!

Tonight was Weigh-in, I didn't loose or gain. I was exactly the same. I didn't go over my points at all, but there were at least two days that I was about 9-11 points under at the end of the day. One night I didn't eat anything else because I fell asleep, and 3 nights I had ice cream (within my points). I also had 2 nights that I didn't sleep.

On Saturday, I actually saw a new number on the scale, but as of this morning it was a no show. I felt bloated and blah. Oh well, next week will be better. At least I didn't gain. I will try better to make sure I get at least my points. Now that I am eating better, more veggies and salads, etc it is getting hard some days to fit all my points in.

Onward and downward..........next week will be awesome!

Melanie

Well, last week was that TOM and as expected I stayed the same, so I knew this week would be a good one and I wasn't disappointed.....3 pounds down this week!!! That brings me to a total of 43 pounds down, 34 pounds since starting WISH, so only 1 more pound to that new clippie!

Congrats to all our losers, good job to our maintainers for not gaining and {{HUGS}} to those who gained...keeping in mind that next week will be a better week. Way to go WISHers!!!

Well, I have lost 2.5lb this week - but I have to admit I am a little disappointed. This was my first week of induction on Atkins - I have felt like death at times I did not expect it to be as bad as it was. I have had blinding headahces and have been physically sick. The first four days were almost more than I could stand - I am not feeling 100% yet - but I am feeling a lot better. I am pleased to have lost 2.5lbs - but I must admit that I had hoped to loose a liitle more - because I have almost 100lb to loose in total. I stuck to induction rules to the letter and was under the 20carbs - everyday. So hopefully I might loose a little more in the week to come.

I have lost 14.5lbs total so far on WISH (18.5lbs since I began my diet) - so I only need to loose half a pound to get my new clippie -I am very much looking forward to that boost.

Well, on to the second week of induction - hopefully not feeling quite so ill this week!!

Congratulations to all who have lost or stayed the same this week. If you didn't loose keep going - you can do it!!
