WISh Check-in week of August 3

Another 1 1/2lbs gone forever! My total loss is 31 1/2 and I'm hoping to get a new clippie soon! Congratulations to all the losers out there. Keep up the good work. Anyone that maintained, good for you! Keep going . We all have weeks that we stay the same. For anyone that gained, keep at your program. Add more water to your day since this seems to really help. Have a good week!

I stayed right put this week, which was fine with me. DH and I were out of town for two days, eating whatever came along, soooo...

It's okay by me. Today I get back at it, and tomorrow, and the next day, and the next...

Daisy;)

Michelle, 3 pounds in one week! That’s awesome, I can hear you bouncing way up here, and that
next clippie will be yours before you know it.

Poly Pal, you are doing terrific. You must be so proud of your self, especially having reached your original goal. Keep up the good work!

Nancy, congratulations on your 2 pound loss. You sure said a mouthful when you said that it is hard to hang in when the results aren’t obvious and quick, but this board inspires us all towards our goal. Thank you!

MelanieC your positive attitude is just what we need. You know that it will be better next go round. Be sure to get your points, and, I hear that it’s important to vary them as well-
sometimes hitting the high end!

tiggerlover, so close to that new clippie! Next time yours will be sparkling and new! Weigh to go!

Claire, I’m so sorry that induction was so painful for you. I understand that it does get better, so hang in there. Everyone loses at their own rate, even on Atkins, and let’s see, 2½ pounds. Isn’t that like 10 sticks of butter in the US?? Carry those around all day, and you’ll see that you are doing just fine! Stay strong!

wdwnutze, good for you for pointing out the “add water” line. It helps me, too. And even if I don’t see a weight change, I do feel an energy change! Well done on that 1½ pound loss!

Daisy, I hope that you and DH had a restful couple of days. And you have a plan to get focused again. Good for you! Your daily exercise threads are most inspiring. Even if I don’t post, it helps to focus me , and I appreciate them very much. Thanks!

Stay the course, everyone!

I lost 1 pound this week. I would say ONLY 1 pound, but it was an important one. It was #25 on wish (35 lbs total)

So I'm doing the new clippie dance. I have 15 more pounds to go until goal. The really amazing thing was the other day I realized that I have no doubt that I will reach goal! No doubts at all!!! When I set the goal I didn't think that I'd reach it. I thought that any weight I lost would be good. Now I know I'll reach it.

I hope to lose 5 more pounds before school starts in 3 weeks. When I start back to work it will actually be easier to stick to the program. I have a hard time when I'm at home all day.

I haven't lost weight in the summer for as long as I can remember. I'm just so proud that not only have I lost 25 pounds, I did it during the summer!!!! If I can do it now, I can handle this anytime!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I'm down 2 more and claimed my 25lb clippie this morning!!!!!

Thanks for everyone's support! Congratulations to all of our losers this week! You all look great and are getting so healthy! Looking forward to seeing "less" of all of you at next week's check in

Thanks so much Debbie for taking the time to post some encouragement - it does mean a lot!!

Well, onwards and downwards we all happily go,
Claire:wave:

I just had to read all the losers this week---first, DEBBIE!!! GREAT JOB on keeping us motivated and taking the time to recognize each of our postings- and look at all these big losers this week!!! IT IS JUST SOOOO INSPIRING!!! OUTSTANDING WISH TEAM!!!

Now for some rather exciting news on my weigh in!! I am at 198.5 down 3 pounds from last weeks weigh in making me officially in ONEDERLAND (which simply means I'm no longer in the 200's!!) I am thrilled and motivated to put a greater distance between me and that "2" number that I'm ready to move ONWARDS & DOWNWARDS!! Next goal is to be below 190 at my first September weigh in. I'm psyched that I'm almost at my halfway point and from there it's all downhill to my ultimate goal of 140 something.

Thanks guys for making this happen- you really have truly been a blessing and I can't thank you (my PM buddies are AWESOME!!) all enough. I am soooo very thankful.

Tara

I had a 1.75 gain this week. :( I was doing great until the weekend--I checked mid-week and I had lost another pound, so I was hoping for a two pound total this week. BUT, DH cooked supper on Sunday and heavily salted everything!!! I could feel myself bloating as I ate. I know I should have just eaten something else but I didn't want to hurt his feelings. I was hoping it wouldn't do too much damage, but I guess it did. I seem to have an amazing capacity for retaining water! What a thing to find that you excel at! My plan for this week is to cut out all the extra sodium I can and to up my water intake. I hope that will take care of the extra fluid!

Congratulations to all the losers this week!!! Keep up the good work! and to all of us who stayed the same or (like me) gained a bit--hang in there!! If we persevere we WILL win our race!!!

First, another "thanks" to Debbie for keeping up the encouragement this week! We are all with Katholyn in spirit this week, and I know that she would be thrilled to see that another WISHer took up this week's cheerleader role!

Second ... Tara ... Congrats on getting to ONEderland :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
That's an awesome accomplishment, and I remember how great I felt the day that the darned ole scale didn't register a "2"! Way to go!!!

Third ... Mowsie Dreamer ... don't let that water retention thing get you down. After a day or two of drinking your water again, that tiny little gain will be long gone, and some more to go along with it, I suspect ;) I did a sneak weigh-in on Saturday ... showed me down 3 pounds last week. I was at a birthday party that day where I did not drink my water, and I ate some chips (and we're not talking a lot of chips either) ... low and behold, Sunday morning showed me only down 1 1/2 pounds. Now, the way I decided to look at it, was the 1 1/2 pounds got me my new clippie, and I know that the other 1 1/2 from last week will just nicely show up on this week since I'm now back on track with my water ! I'm sure your dh's dinner was awesome, and that extra fluid will not stay with you for long.

I did it, I did it, I did it!!! I'm down another 2 punds for a WISH total of 10, 15 overall. This was my mini-goal to reach before I leave next week. Now I just can't get lazy!

I lost 3 pounds on my first week of Weight Watchers. It's so nice to see the scale moving in the right direction.:D

i didn't start measuring myself until day 9 of induction, so i have probably lost more, but with my 3rd measure this morning, i've lost a total of 5 inches so far!!

it's coming off of everywhere...so it's not easy to notice, but it's not there anymore!!

congrats to all the "losers" this week...and to those of you who may have gained...hang in there!!! it's a new week!!

onward and downward my friends!!!

Oh boy, was I stressing yesterday when I couldn't get the computer to work long enough for me to get to the check in thread! It's not a bad thing to be hooked on WISH, right? Right?? :p

I am Happy Happy Happy to report a 2.5 pound loss this week which gets me a new clippie too!!! (LOTS of new clippies out there! YEAH!!!) I just completed the 20th week of WISHing and have lost a total of 47 pounds bringing me to 189 (and a new decade of numbers!). I have also lost 3.5 inches during the month of July, so I am one happy girl!!

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful support!!! Onward and downward we all goooo...............

Woo-Hoo- this was a huge week for the losers to claim new clippies!

Congratulations to the big losers, the on-their-way losers, the maintainers, and the I'm-gonna-do-better-next-week losers!!!

(Hey, Terry!!! Did you think I was going to let you run off and leave me behind? I wanna wear what YOU'RE wearing!
:p )

It's not my official weigh in day, but when I saw that magic number on the scale there was no way I was going to wait until Saturday to claim it! 45 pounds gone since the end of January, and only another 25 to go!!

Thanks for all your help, my WISH buddies!:p

PadisMOM, what a fabulous pound to lose! That clippie matches your eyes, all sparkling and blue. Boy, do I ever agree with you about being easier during the school year! Routines mean so much, don’t they.

Kim, you’ve got the new 25 pound clippie, too! And here I thought I was seeing double. You’re right, we do look healthier! Keep up the good work!

:o Claire, I know that I always look forward to Katholyn’s encouraging posts. If I can do a small percentage of what she does, I’ll be exceedingly happy. Thank you.

Tara, we ARE a team , aren’t we? Kelsie gave us the clippies, maybe she could give us a cheer, too. (Did you know that Kels writes awesome poems and ditties??) Congratulation on joining me in ONEderland. We’ve seen the last of that 2 in the hundreds place, haven’t we? I know that you are thrilled, happy,
proud, ecstatic. . . words fail. Congratulations will have to do. You are well on your weigh to your goal.

mowsiedreamer, first, let me thank you for looking up Kelsie’s (it was Kelsie’s!) post with the new, unused clippies on it. Now, forget about that gain. Mary Liz is right with her advice. Drink LOTS of water, and it will go away before you know it. And good for you for thinking about your hubby’s feelings. These
are the important little things. You have a wonderful, positive attitude. Thanks for being a part of WISH.

Mary Liz, I know how hard you worked for that clippie. I could feel the vibrations of your new clippie dance way-ay-ay-ay over here. Weigh to go, hun. You are looking really great!

Melissa! You met your mini-goal. Good for you. You won’t get lazy. This is a new life/style , and you are on your weigh. Go, enjoy yourself. The reality of life will be back before you know it. Remember to drink your water, though, while
you are gone. I find that sometimes that is the hardest thing to do when I'm away.

TinkBell-3 pounds on your first week. That is success, sweetie, and you feel it as you watch the scale. What a great start. Keep it up because you can do it!

Brandie, 5 inches and you are losing all over. Good for you. And, while you think that it’s not easy to notice, I bet someone is. Keep on truckin’ girl. You are on your way!

Terry, no wonder you are jumping! Inches AND pounds lost, and you’ve now said goodbye to the 190's. I’m hoping to join you in a short while, but right now, I’m just jumping with joy for you. Feel proud. You’ve done a good job!

Kathy! You are half-way there. I don’t blame you one iota for a sneak weighing! Good for you, hun. Keep up the good work.

Boy, there are a LOT of new clippies this week. WE ARE AWESOME!!!

:teeth: Just back from weigh-in. I'm down 1.5 pounds.
I'm so thankful to be downward trending again.

Take care everyone

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I did it! I made it through DW last week and still lost. I ate bad things, but rationed them with good and it worked. Look at my new self I have lost another 2 pounds and am wearing the new clippee!
:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Everyone, don't give up. Keep your mind in this and you can do it. I have finally gotten to the idea that food is not my main priority, being healthy is. I still need to get the exercising going. I can't get to that part yet. I see doctor next week and hope for good words from her too.

Keep on keeping on. We can do it we are worth it!

I lost 1 more lb this week. Total of 4 in 3 weeks. I really need to try harder. I leave for Disney on the 24th and I hope to lose 4 or 5 lbs before I go. It would be nice to get a clippie before I go!

Keep up the good work everyone. It is sooo hard to always focus on what you should and shouldn't eat. Life does get in the way but we can all do it!

Thanks for this board. I love being able to read everyone's ups and downs. It is very inspirational to me. Thanks.

Yesterday should have been official weight in day, but I am using today instead because today I earned my new 25 lb. clippie and I am so excited!

I am down about 3 lbs. this week, but since I was sick yesterday with flu, I know some of that may come back, but since I am 26.75 lbs. down, I am hoping (and determined) to keep my 25 lb. clippie!
