Last week while we were in the MK waiting for the start of Wishes, we were talking to another family by us. It was a mom, dad, and a 6yr old little girl. A CM was standing pretty close and he walked over and was chatting with everyone.
He then bent down to the little girl and asked if she wanted to be a princess. She was holding a wand and but dressed in normal clothes.
She quickly shook her head no and said, "I want to be Tinkerbell."
The CM grinned and asked if she had seen tink during her stay, and she sadly said, "No."
Again the CM grinned and said, "Well, she can be a little shy at times, but maybe she will show up before long."
The little girl smiled and nodded and the CM walked away.
The mother commented that the only character that her daughter really wanted to see was Tink. She was happy to see the others, but all she talked about was seeing Tinkerbell.
Now, none of us had seen Wishes before and didn't know what was going to happen.
Right before the show started, the same CM walked up to the little girl, he kneeled down and asked, "Do you know what the fireworks show is called?"
She shook her head yes.
He said, "Good. Maybe since the show is called Wishes, we can wish for Tinkerbell to come out, ok?"
She smiled brightly and said ok.
Right before Tink made her appearance, he looked at her and said, "Make your wish."
I have never seen a child so excited in my life, and I have 2 of my own.
She was jumping up and down screaming, "It's Tinkerbell! It's Tinkerbell!"
Her mom was crying, her dad was crying, I think everyone in a 20ft radius was crying.
It was really one of those magical moments that the CM's make for people. The CM waved at the little girl and walked away smiling. I wanted to get his name, but he didn't hang around.
Gotta love that place...
