Wisconsin Dells?

I've got to ask this. What exactly are the duck rides?

Also, we saw the web site for the Trojan Horse go cart track, and my 12-year old son went crazy when he saw it.

If you stay in a hotel with a water park, should you still go to Noah's Ark?

Another vote for the Wilderness.

We went there last month. We like to go in the winter as well - they have 2 huge indoor waterparks that have no public admission; you have to be a hotel guest to use their parks! Some of the other resorts allow public admission (like Kalahari), and I hear that sometimes the hotel guests can't get in because it gets so crowded!

Have a great time!!

Oh, and a great way to keep costs down is to bring your own food!

All the rooms have a refrigerator (think large dorm style), microwave, and coffee maker. We usually bring Easy Macs, cereals, frozen dinners, Spaghettios, milk, juice, yogurts, veggies and dip, pop, etc.

Florafauna, the duck rides are scenic tours through the Dells that start out on land, but then go right into the water. They are amphibious (sp?) vehicles. They give everyone on the tour a duck whistle and let me tell you, by the time you get off there you want to strangle all the kids who won't stop blowing it!

Most people who pay the big bucks to stay at a water park hotel usually don't do Noah's Ark. Only because then you aren't getting your money's worth when you leave to go somewhere else. If you have older kids, you might want to try Noah's Ark. The hotel water parks have fun slides, but not too many true "thrill" rides. They are geared more toward preschool through maybe 5th grade.

Deb had a good point about some of the hotels letting in guests that aren't staying at the hotel. I know for sure that Great Wolf Lodge does, and it makes the water park section extra crowded.
