I'm sorry if I am posting this in the incorrect thread but I'm not sure where else it would go.

My family is going to be in Disney for 12 days in September. We are taking our laptop with us. We would like to be able to access the internet while we are there.

We really don't want to pay the 24 hour rate. I think it is like $11.00 per day. We were thinking about finding a local internet provider and signing up for it while we were in WDW. We would probably just want something for the whole month of Sept. Then cancel after that.

Does anyone know if this is even a possibility? What are the local internet providers in the Orlando area.

I can't comment on getting a provider but my immediate thought is that Disney must have found a way to block other providers onsite so that you have to pay their fee. But I did want to say that there is an hourly fee as well if you don't want to pay the all day fee.

It did not even cross my mind that Disney might be able to block other providers.

I did not know that there was an hourly fee...

Answered my own question...but does anyone know where I can find the fee listed? I am trying to plan out every cost and want to know how much to budget for internet access! Wow...how did we ever survive without the internet?????:confused3
