wireless headphones

We just got a Dodge Caravan and had a DVD player installed. The wireless headphones have a "hum" in them.
The hum isn't that bad. I was just wondering if it came along with the territory being wireless and all.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Is it supposed to be like that or should we have it checked?

We had a DVD player installed after market (it's so much nicer then the one they wanted to charge us $6000 for and it was cheaper too!) and it's got wireless headphones. They do not hum. I would check into it a bit more because they are not supposed to do that.

Ours do not hum. We cannot listen to them in the front of the van but they do not hum in the rear.
