Wire from the Castle

Robo...once again you have totally amazed me. I have never seen a better video of Wishes at any time. I don't know how you do it...but I'm glad I am around to benefit from your incredible talent.

Thank you so much for the kind words.

I'm happy that I can share the enjoyment of my Disney passion
with a fellow traveler.

You have made my day!

Sorry, that's not quite the case.

In the previous MK shows (prior to Wishes,) Tink would fly before the fireworks began.

But, in Wishes, she has a specific place to fly DURING the show.

It's toward the front of the show, but many fireworks have gone off and we are into the show before she is given her "cue" in the soundtrack to fly.

BTW, she does not ALWAYS fly.
Due to poor weather conditions or other situations unknown to guests, Tink may not appear in the show.

The "cue" in the soundtrack is not specific enough that (if you don't know where it comes) you'd not know that the Tink performance was missing.

Here is a complete video recording of Wishes that I made with 6 camera
locations.

Tink's flight is featured just past the 2:30 mark in part 1.

1- So kind of you! Thanks!

2- This is a brand new posting of this show that I just uploaded a few days ago.
It is now stored with a much higher image and sound quality than used to be possible on YouTube.

I have had the old version (same show, but much lower quality compression)
posted for a long time, and the old version has had many views and ratings.

I plan to pull the old versions from the site, after I complete some more uploading of other WDW videos in my "vault."

Thanks again!

As for the wire, my daughter was 8 at the time and questioned why Tink had a wire - I told her Tink has two types of pixie dust, one to make her fly, another to make her regular sized and that when she's regular sized the flying pixie dust doesn't work as well so they have the wire for her just for her extra safety.

As for tinkerdude - our last trip was video taping Tink's flight and got some nice closeup - and then zoomed back out when I thought Tink was looking rather dude-ish - DD didn't need that on the video!

Come on people...its really a special radar beam that helps vector in Tinkerbell's flight to the castle... you know there is only ONE Tinkerbell and she has to fly quite a distance between all the Disney parks...

Tiny?

Does SHE have a moustache and hairy underarms?!?!?! :scared1::eek::scared1:

Someone from my church knows the CM that plays Tink. Apparrantly she drives over from Brevard County every night(about an hour and fifteen minutes), flys, and goes home. Full pay. She also works full time as a teacher.

There you have it.
Tink is a female.

Somebody knows somebody who goes to church with somebody...

"Irrefutable evidence," if I ever heard any. ;)

Are you sure about the Tinkerbell thing for the wire? I thought it was to make it easier to fold up the castle after park closing each night.:confused3

a few years ago, on a backstage tour, we got to see the matttress that Tink(sometimes a guy--sorry girls) lands on.
I still love the "magic"!!!!

Robo,
a message from my 3 year old as he was clapping when it was done

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
