One of the best shows ever!

They really need to put past seasons on DVD so I can watch it all the time.

I agree! It's so hilarious. I feel the same way about MXC. I love those sorts of shows. I really liked "I Survived A Japanese Gameshow" and was disappointed they didn't renew it this year. I actually didn't care about the reality show part; I just really loved the gameshow segments. :rotfl:

Cogswel_Cogs, the new summer season of Wipeout started tonight.

love that show too! was so excited to see it taping on the DVR tonight.

good nite and big balls. that makes me crack up every time i hear it! :rotfl:

I would love to be on Wipeout and Amazing Race. I like Jeopardy, but sometimes the categories I would be like "UM, what is I don't know Alex"?

I was hoping Arielle and Grizzly Adams want to be would win. But the guy seemed really nice, like a big furry teddy bear, sort of.

I wanted someone to catch one of the things that the clowns were throwing and throw it back at them, no such luck

Is it done or is there a new season?

From the Wipeout thread [LINK]:
Wipeout returns on June 1 for its third season. 18 episodes are planned.

Mindless fun! I think that a Wipeout Wii game could be coming soon.

I LOVE Wipeout!! I thought I was the only woman who watched it.

Although I do wonder how some of them walk away instead of being rolled away in a body cast. :upsidedow How do they NOT break their neck??

Wipeout was hilarious the first season, but last season they seemed to cut Jill Wagner's one liners and many interactions with the contestants down and the show suffered because of it. As a viewer I got the impression one of the hosts had a hissy fit because he was upstaged by her. Too bad, she's naturally funny in a sarcastic irreverent way which I tend to find :rotfl2:. I'll give the new season another try, I just hope they don't stomp all over the girl again, it was a bit of a bore without all her charisma so I don't think I watched the entire 2nd season.

Maybe the jealousy stemmed from the fact that she actually ran the course, once, and completed it in respectable time. :)

Oh gosh, I had never watched this show from start to end but watched it last night - I thought I was going to pee my pants! :lmao: I love watching people fall and flop all over the place -- DF didn't think it was quite as funny. But really, how can you go wrong with big balls? :rotfl:

Me too!!

I also love this show and made DBF sit through it. He must be a bit of a sadist; he laughed the loudest whenever another guy, on the "sucker punch wall," got hit in the family jewels. His excuse was, "It's funny to watch a guy get hit there - as long as it's not me."

We were cheering for Arielle and Flounder. Oh, well.

Arielle and Flounder - we were pulling for them to win as well.

I know one of the girls tried to fling one of the bowling pins back at the clowns, but only ended up tossing it into the sweeper bar and hitting herself with it.

We had to pause the show a couple of different times. When the girls were on the baseball course and two of them were standing on first base and the ball came flying in hitting the one girl on the back of the head, then bounched back and hit the other girl in the face. The look on Arielle's face as she was spinning before going out onto the baseball course.

I had a physics teacher once who explained humor as, "Someone else's peril, viewed from afar." I think that definition fits this show perfectly! DW and I have been fans since episode 1!

Funny how they went an entire 2 hours with a contestant named Arielle, but never once mentioned the best player the show ever had...Ariel Tweto, the seal-hopper from Season 1. :thumbsup2
