although the snow really is pretty..I have to admit I know what you mean.Stitchfans said:yes, I admit it is very pretty as long as someone else has it and not me. Would be so happy if I never had to deal with snow again. no more shoveling, no driving in it, no more having to walk through it, just look at it from the distance.

Whenever I send pics like this back to DH's family and friends in CA they all say how pretty it looks and how jealous they are. Yeah, easy to say when you're looking at a photo. Try living in it daily for 4-6 moths!
Although sometimes it helps to hear their comments in a way, because it helps me see the beauty in it rather than the hassles of it.

At the end of our road, which is a private road BTW so not many cars, is a big hill that the kids always go sledding on. Right within walking distance so we don't even have to drive anywhere. Just grab the sleds and go.disykat said:Beautiful - though I was also wondering how you sled with out hill! Looks like a prime spot for cross country skiing though.

Okay so I complain non-stop and drive everyone nuts!

WOW!! Looks pretty there.mommaU4 said:I took these today and thought I'd share them. This is the view from our backdoor. Didn't even step outside, just opened the patio door. Anyone wanna go sledding?![]()
