Yep, some people are just rude. They don't grasp common courtesy for some foreign reason.

Rude people suck!! And it's disney.. Everyone should be so happy and helpful.. I've done chef mickeys once when the girls were young. Now we skip all the buffets except crystal palace and 1900 park fare.. Those are our faves.. Tonys is great too. We switched it up with via Napoli this upcoming trip. And California grill.. Hope it's good.. Can't wait to read more..

The kids used to love Crystal Palace! We have some good memories there.

Sorry about the obnoxious children behind you and getting sick at Chef Mickey's. Between the crappy hotel room and your Chef Mickey's experience your trip only has to get better, right?!?!?!

Our last trip to WDW was over my boys' 6th birthday and they picked (and agreed) on Chef Mickey's for their birthday dinner. It was truly magical. I have so many good memories from that dinner that I hope will be permanently ingrained in my brain forever. We always look forward to a dinner there - I just wish it wasn't so expensive!

Luckily, it does get better!! For the most part. The hotel issues only get worse unfortunately.

Sounds like a wonderful time! It is expensive though.

Been up since 6am trying to make my ADR's!! Keep getting "system error" on the computer and "there must be a blip in the system" on the IPad. Grrrrrrrrr

The computer web site and the iPhone app did not work for me at my 180 days from mid-night to 2AM. I accidentally fell asleep. I woke up before 6AM and tried again to find it working. I'll keep my fringes crossed for you.

For as awesome as Disney as at just about everything, they really need to get their website up to snuff. I never have a good experience on there.

Did you get everything you wanted? Hopefully that wasn't too painful

I keep wanting to add more ADR's this trip. We are only doing Via Napoli on arrival night and that is it. No sit downs, we are mainly cooking in the room and doing CS. I know it will be fine because they will have the pizza window at the Boardwalk and the booths set up for F&GF... but the planner in me is mildly freaking out with having no ADR's.

There isn't a number TA's can call for dining? There should be. You should have a bat phone or something. : teeth:

That is a shame that the CM talked to you that way when you told her about your room. She could have been nicer about it and if she had other available rooms why not move you?! Or just tell you that there are no other rooms to move to. Ugh those hallways remind me of hospital hallways

Great Chef Mickey pictures! Glad to see that your boys are not too old to still interact with the characters. My DS is 12 so I know how boys can be at that age....makes me sad.

I am so sorry that you got sick! Stomach is the worse one by far.

I got my ADR's!!

But what a huge pain.

Got up before 6am for nothing. The system recognized my resort ressie, it's been in there for months. It even acknowledged that today was my ADR day. It would let me pick the restaurant, date and time, then as it went to the next page - which would have been to collect my cc info, it would come up System Error. Grrrr. This went on for 15 minutes. Then I tried the IPad thinking surely the app would work. It went as far, even a little further, it accepted my cc number and then had a pop up box with something like "there must be a blip in the network".... So I had to sit there until 7am and call the TA dining line.

Then after all that I forgot to ask about the cabana rental. Just called back this afternoon and got that reserved and was told "nope, there is absolutely nothing going on with the Poly pool this summer, if there was it would not let me book this for you"... We'll see about that....



So, for ADR's this is what I got:

Kona Café Breakfast
Ohana Dinner
Sci-Fi Lunch
Tony's Townsquare Dinner
San Angel Inn Lunch
Teppan Edo Dinner

We will also have our Agency private dinner/Frozen Event in Epcot one night and we will go to either ESPN or BRG, neither require ADR's.

Teppan Edo will be the only new one for us!

Yeah, I don't know why the WL CM's couldn't have been a little more accommodating. It was irritating.

The kids had fun at Chef Mickey's!! Glad they can still do that!

Your ADR's look awesome! Kona for breakfast is the one I was sad about not trying for this year. I may go for it in Dec when we are staying at VWL. I think it will be less annoying to get to the Poly from there than from the Boardwalk.

And I can't wait to hear about the Frozen event! I am obsessed with that movie. It was SO good! Much better than I thought it would be. I listen to the soundtrack almost every day

I am nervous about the cabana situation. Just when we finally decide to splurge a little on something, and it might not even happen. I should probably call in again and try to get some more info...

I think it only make sense for them to wait until after Labor Day to close the pool, but what do I know!!
