Hello,

I have never been to any of the Disney mini golf courses and wondered which was the best one?

Also are they easily found and how much are they?

Thankyou

We were told that for younger kids Winter Summerland was the best course. Our two are 7 & 8 so we are heading there.

We played both last trip and enjoyed them both. Personally I rate Winter Summerland well above Fantasia Gardens which we found quite tricky!!

The summer side of Winter Summerland seemed easiest for my DDs who were 5 & 8 at the time.

They are quite pricey - we got 50% off as we have Annual Passes. I think they were about $10 each before discount.

Hi

We've done Winter Summerland and Fantasia courses...

For kids I would have to say that Winter Summerland one is great...this is right next to Blizzard Beach water park.

Fantasia there are two courses, one being harder than the other...Fantasia Gardens is the easiest one, we tried;) to play the Fairways!!
These courses are both next to the Boardwalk.

We did winterland and fantasia on our last trip - summerland was closed for refurbishment. I liked fantasia but we did it second and its much older than winterland and you could tell! I wish we'd done them the other way around really as it was good fun - but the green was scuffed and the ball kept going off course!

No kids in our trip but I think they'd prefer the winterland summerland as it's much more themed and bright!

It was bizzare playing golf in the snow in Disney!

Check them out - they are more pricey than golf places in the 192 but they hey who cares it's disney! (we got buy one game get one half price which made it a bit more reasonable anyway)

I'm going to be controversial and say only go to Winter Summerland if you've got kids. Most of the holes are very generously sloped - i.e. hit it in roughly the right direction and it'll roll towards, and sometimes even straight in the hole. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice and well themed course (especially the holes with the 'secret' water jets!), but personally I like my mini-golf with a bit more of a challenge to it.

That is why I prefer Fantasia, although as a previous poster said, there are one or two bits on the course that could do with a little TLC - showing it's age (wear and tear) in a few places.

However if you fancy taking a trip out to I-Drive, there is now a MASSIVE amount of mini-golf choice. I make it now a grand total of 162 holes across 5 different venues - Pirates Cove and Congo River have been open ages, but new in the past 18 months are Putting Edge (indoors with neon lit holes), Tiki Island and Hawaiian Rumble (both with giant volcanoes). Can't wait to play them all this November!

Now that is exactly why I like it ;)

DH and I played Fantasia Gardens (pre kids) and were utterly rubbish. It was dead tricky and we found the theming a little dull after playing the Pirates Cove and Congo River courses. Rather embarrassingly, the CMs running Fantasia Gardens took it all veryseriously and wanted to see our score cards at the end. We had given up with them after about hole 3 and the CMs got a bit snotty. For goodness sake its MINI GOLF not the US open!!

Might try Wintersummerland this year...I like the sound of easy, easy is good!
