:crazy2: It's just so darn inconvenient you know? Freezing rain and snow tonight 5-8 inches plus heavy snow tomorrow with another 6-12 inches....YUCK!
Strong winds might reach 40 miles an hour...

Anyone else getting this mess?

We're supposed to be getting a lighter version of it-3" to 5" I believe. We do have a blowing snow warming. I rode the bus today because it's supposed to get icky this afternoon and then DH drives me home in the Subaru. ;)

I just wish we'd get enough so I could have a snow day!

Stay warm, MM!

We are expecting 1-3" tonight, and 12-18" tomorrow. I would hate for school to be canceled on Valentine's Day, but I think the kids would LOVE a snow day!

I watched 4 different weather reports (3 CT tv stations and 1 NY station) and none of their predictions were the same! :happytv: So, I'm either in for 3 -6 inches, 6-9 inches, or 12 -18 inches...depending on the track of the storm! :headache:

We are looking at about a foot. But of course if it tracks this way.... or if it tracks that way......Anything can happen.
I just go on the assumption we are getting snow. The amount doesn't really matter to me. Any amount is too much! :lmao:

I am so done with winter! We have finally warmed into the 20s but now we could have up to a foot of snow. I know the news makes a big deal of it to get you to watch but I really do hope they are wrong.

Could get up to 15 inches in NE Indiana.

The media is officially calling it the "Blizzard of 2007.":scared1:

::yes:: ::yes::

Yeah, we'll be getting it too! They are talking 8-12 inches snow starting around rush hour tonight. same winds here too...not what I want to deal with. Plus yesterday when it was just a watch the store was a mob scene (I work in a grocery store) I'm sure today when I get in this afternoon it will be more of the same.

WOW!!! You guys need to move up here to Canada!!!!! :rotfl2:

We have had NOTHING much to speak of this year!!!! :confused3 Think the shovel has been out 3 times!!!! :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:

I've probably totally jinxed us now!!!!! :guilty:

Please take care in the stormy weather. :grouphug:

Just about half of IN is under a blizzard warning right now. DH's hour drive to work took him an hour and forty minutes. They worked two and a half hours then called it quits. There are quite a few people who works with DH that also live in our area. They've formed a convoy of sorts for the trip home, just in case someone goes in the ditch. It's NOT looking pretty here right now.

We're getting it down here as well. It's supposed to start late tonight and be a mix of snow then changing over to rain/ice then snow again. I think AccuWeather's web site for my area said about 2"-5". This is our first "real" snow down here. Those of you who live up there have been getting hit pretty hard this winter.

If I were you, I'd stick with the CT weather. I've noticed that CT is pretty much the border when it comes to winter weather.

A few years ago, DH and I took the ferry from Long Island to CT (Mystic area). We hardly had any snow left here (if any), but we noticed a lot more of it, like a few inches, once we crossed over the L.I. Sound to CT. We couldn't believe the difference.

We're getting this mess! I've already shoveled about 4 inches off the driveway, but they're calling for an additional 4 - 10 inches today!!:scared1:

The kids are home for a snow day and we're "hunkering down" for the day. Good day to DIS, laundry, and have the kids do their valentines for tomorrow.

We're supposed to get 3-6" today and tonight. With what we already have it won't seem like much.

I live in North Central Ohio, and the kids are all off school already! :cool1: They're doing the happy dance! It's snowing and blowing like crazy here! I'm happy because I get to hibernate and not go to work. DH gets to go open the store today.
I think I'll clean the house and make cookies. If.....only......I......could.......resist.......the........strong........urge......to......DIS!:surfweb:
