I feel so stupid for believing the weather forecasters yesterday! I made my 18 year old DS stay in, and we barely have any snow! We may have an inch. Oh well, at least he learned how to make Shrimp Creole while he was stuck inside!

I hear you! I can't stand the way they put out all those "warnings" yesterday and not much came of them at all here in western Wayne county.

It snowed ALL day, huge flakes, but was so warm.... like another poster said... it just didn't stick. I'm in Northern Oakland County and we have what looks to be about 4 inches - but it looks like Narnia out here!!! It's beautiful!

Now, with that said, I'll let you know how pretty I think it is after I shovel the driveway!!

We are about 30 miles northwest of you. This is what we woke up to, I took these about an hour ago.

Lulugirl, we can switch. I HATE the snow. We've been very lucky this winter. I guess I can't complain too much. It's been pretty mild with just rain. Right now its snowing and sticking. Earlier today it was just light snow showers. I hope all the partygoers going downtown, dress appropriately. Michigan weather changes every minute from one extreme to another. Hopefully the streets will be clear for the superbowl. Per Kwame, city workers are suppose to work around the clock tonight to clear the streets. Even volunteers are coming in Sunday morning to shovel the sidewalks around Ford Field.

I would love to switch (just for a few months), Dh is a Detriot Lions fan, so he would be up for it!

I work past ann arbor in ypsilanti a 43 mile drive from home.
Last time out by work had just a dusting & we got alot of snow, it lasted over a week on the ground & we had mild temps.
