I know many of us in cold climates occasionally use the DIS to dream about being somewhere warmer, but I thought it would be nice to share the good side of winter too, so post your prettiest winter shots here if you'd like to share.

Taken in May 2016 along I-70 near the Eisenhower Tunnel, CO; snow here much of the year and I wouldn't want to travel on this road in winter!

A sight I never grow tired of. I love that drive (even since doing it 9 times now). Of course we have only done it in summer. I don't want any part of it in the winter either!

And if you're interested in photography, just play with it! In today's digital age, there's no wasting film, so just shoot around your house, backyard, etc. You don't need a fancy camera, just the time to look at details you don't always notice, and try different shots out.
