Winter is here

I just tried to run to the store we are just about out of cereal, milk etc. about 5 minutes into my trip I had to turn around. The roads are soooo bad-I couldn't believe it. I was sliding everywhere. And its real cold too!

It's here in Houston, too. Not to the same level, but it was actually in the 30's this morning when I came in to work, and I don't leave for work until 9am. Wouldn't surprise me if we actually hit freeze last night.

It's the worse weather we've had in years here in Portland OR....woke up to lots and lots of snow, a rarity here....it's supposed to get back up to 50 degrees on Thursday. Hopefully it won't flood!
